@TorturedBlazerFan I was working on the Knicks page and it's a perfect example of why you never stretch a bad contract like Turner's.
The Knicks could have his $18 million to send along with picks to the Pelicans for AD and then be completely clear of his contract. Instead he counts towards the cap $6.43 million each of the next 3 years and there is no way to clear it. It's pretty much the difference between NY possibly getting 3 max contracts this summer or not.
Yup, would be a big expiring contract to match contracts with their younger guys.Noah?
Are you living on a prayer?Alright, the Eastern Conference teams are done so I'm halfway there.
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear! Are you living on a prayer?
Woah.Take my hand, we'll make it I swear!
Let's GooooooThe answer to the contest was 61 which was the total number of victories this season by the Blazers including the playoffs.
@BonesJones was closest with 51 so he now takes control of the Blazers.
@SwissBlazer wanted to stick with Dallas so you can keep Atlanta too.
To be fair that one’s probably real lol. Please stop!!!!!! I asked everyone not to do this stuff until everything is official.
Anyone talking trades with others already please stop doing so as well. Please respect that we need to have a start time that everyone has agreed upon. I know some of you are antsy to get started but respect the rules please.

Yes, but I'm still trying to set up the game and there's a lot of new people this year. It's not fair to everyone not sure how it works or what to do to have some people already trying to get messages out there and discussing trades. To be fair that one’s probably real lol.![]()
If the team getting him wants him, they could agree to guarantee his contract for next season and then it would count fully in a trade.Damn, forgot that though new league year doesn't start, players with unguaranteed contracts shift to next years salary for trade purposes. Favors no longer the chip I wanted him to be
Oh yeah, I was just looking at the potential loophole of a team waiving him before the draft. Forgot they obviously fixed that up. Was hoping to find a way to cut someone's salary. But that's alright. If the team getting him wants him, they could agree to guarantee his contract for next season and then it would count fully in a trade.
If you figure out that loop hole please call NO and say we found our way out of ET’s contract!Oh yeah, I was just looking at the potential loophole of a team waiving him before the draft. Forgot they obviously fixed that up. Was hoping to find a way to cut someone's salary. But that's alright.
That rule was new last year and caused a lot of confusion. Until the draft we go by this year's salary for trades but anyone non-guaranteed only has the guaranteed part count (this is for everyone to read not just you as it looks like you know that already).Oh yeah, I was just looking at the potential loophole of a team waiving him before the draft.
