Former Blazers assistant coach during the championship run, Jack McKinney passed away. He would have had a great career as a head coach if he hadn’t suffered a serious head injury while biking. RIP.

Especially scooters. Ever since their advent on Portland streets, I have yet to see someone riding a "Bird" scooter while wearing a helmet.

It was a mystery as to why the Lakers dumped him. He never understood; no one else did either. Probably, management quickly found that they didn't respect him or something.
