12/20/2017 - CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND PREVIEW

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME:
(1) Blazersland.com (HAAK) vs. (2) Bone Corps (BonesJones)
- The championship game features the best two teams from the regular seasons. Bones and HAAK have built powerhouses, as HAAK finished 2nd last year with Bones finishing 3rd, and now both will square of for the regular season crown. HAAK won both previous matchups, however the margin of victory was close and this contest is anybody's to win.

@HAAK72 - Blazersland.com (10-3) - Whenever Kareem Hunt has big games, HAAK is almost unbeatable. Hunt had a huge game last week in HAAK's 203-104 win over Sedated Fork. Hunt had a slow stretch in the middle of the season after starting hot, so we'll see if he can put together a great two-game stretch at the perfect time for HAAK. After losing last-years championship game, he hopes to redeem himself and win it all in 2017. Keenan Allen, Christian McCaffrey, and Tom Brady are heavily relied upon for HAAK, but he also has very nice complimentary pieces in Michael Crabtree, Mike Evans, and Jared Goff.

@BonesJones - Bone Corps (9-4) - Bone Corps advanced to the Champsionship with a 170-142 win over TrailBlazer18. Every single player is projected to have 10+ points for Bone Corps this week (including D/ST and K). Depth has been a huge factor for Bones throughout the season. He and HAAK have built there strength off their RBs, as Bones has Leveon Ball (#2RB), LeSean McCoy (#7RB - Acquired in a late season trade for Rob Gronkowski), and the recently hot Kenyen Drake (23ppg over the past 3 games). He has an extremely solid 4-WR group of Michael Thomas (#5WR), Adam Thielen (#6WR who went undrafted and was picked up by Bones at the start of the season), Brandin Cooks (#13WR), and Golden Tate (#15WR). In a 2 QB league, Bones elected to wait on drafted QBs to stack up his skill positions, and it worked perfectly. He had drafted Carson Wentz (#1QB until his injury a couple weeks ago) with the 98th overall pick. Matthew Stafford, who has been solid as a #10QB in the league, was drafted late as well with the 82nd pick. Wentz injury is certainly tough for Bones, however he replaced Wentz with his IRL replacement in Nick Foles, who had 25 points on 4 passing TDs in his semi-final win.

3rd Place:
It's a 3-team battle for third, as whoever scores the most points this week out of @Sedatedfork, @RipCityWarrior, and @trailblazer18 will get the 3rd place prize ($25)!

My plan for Next Year
-10-12 Teams, 6 make playoffs, playoffs Week 14, 15, and 16.

This will be a 2nd QB, but with 10-12 players it could be any other player so that there aren't problems with a lack of QBs.

I agree with this. I traded my top two picks (Jordy Nelson and Mike Evans) and didn't get too much in return (Ertz ended up being the only good piece).

I fully expect 10 players next season, so additionaly bonuses will be possible with that number.

What do you guys think about doing the standard roster layout next season (1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 FLEX) but adding an (Offensive Player) spot? This would be like a 2nd QB (since they score the most) but wouldnt have to be a QB giving freedom and avoiding potential problems with teams not having enough QBs, etc.
