No, we're good. But thank you.
Haha, it was just a random thought. He seemed a really nice guy and I should have remembered or made note of who he was. It was kind of funny because my Blazers attire is what caused him to mention this to me. I often am wearing a team shirt, but almost always have a Blazers jacket on. He was like, "Blazers fan, are you? Well, I was Blazer, but just for a brief time"...and then briefly told me his story in a downplaying sort of way.
We talked about the current team a bit. I have many conversations with people during the work day due to the Blazers pinwheel and I have to be careful, because the classic scenario is this:
"Oh, you're a Blazers fan, eh? Great game last night..." and then they spoil it for me before I can't stop them. You see, I often watch the games later on full game replay and sometimes even finish it the next evening. So, during the season, I'm on my guard sometimes to dissuade people from spoiling me if I'm not caught up on my games.
I had a very mindless experience with this where I almost swore I was going to stop wearing Blazers stuff, after this, haha. A customer started this line of talk and this time I was able to say, "oh, hey, I haven't watched the game yet, so no spoilers, okay?"
And he didn't skip a beat and started talking about the game and then just said, "yeah, it was a good game, we won", and went on about what the game was like, without even saying whoops or anything. I was pretty shocked. It was almost like he didn't know what spoilers meant or maybe he delights in spoiling people? Maybe he's a professional spoiler-spiller? Anyway, it was messed up.
