<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">TORONTO ? The Nets left for Canada without starting small forward Richard Jefferson, whose ankle troubles are becoming a cause for concern.

Jefferson will not play against the Raptors tonight and could miss Saturday's home game against Detroit because of a sore right ankle. He was re-evaluated by a doctor Thursday. There were no immediate updates.

The Nets are concerned that this could be a chronic thing. This is the fourth time in seven months that Jefferson's right ankle has bothered him.

Earlier this season, Jefferson said he never missed a game because of an ankle injury. But tonight marks the sixth game he'll sit out in the last five weeks because of his ankles.

"I'm concerned," Nets president Rod Thorn said. "He looked like he was really coming back and getting ready and playing more like he normally plays. So to then have whatever happen, hopefully it will be temporary. But whatever setback you have is not a good thing."</div>

This is bad. I mean RJ might not score as much as Vince, but he is very important to the Nets. He brings a lot to the team, and takes off some scoring pressure of Vince.

The injury bug is really getting to us.

Looks like Vince and Jason have to step up once again. I don't think Marcus Williams is playing tonight either so more trouble.
