“The defensive end is the part of my game that I take pride in,” Lopez said. “I just try to be a defensive presence at all times. Blocking shots, altering shots, I feel like I'm more discipline than I was earlier in my career when I was fouling a lot and going for every pump-fake. I try not to foul as much and it has helped me out tremendously. I'm ready to get the job done.”
Hakeem still got it!!!! I wish he was on our staff

Wow, one Lopez looks significantly better than the other one. Which one did we get?
The one which would look significantly better if they were doing defensive drills.
I think it's better we got the defensive, banger brother. We have so much offense now; we need a defensive anchor.
I know Sly was just trying to be a smart-ass.
He's so much like Przybilla in terms of skillset.
I don't know if he'll ever show the toughness Joel brought but his offense is equally sad.
Me? A smart-ass?!? How dare you, sir. How dare you.

I thought you'd be offended at the word "trying", suggesting that you hadn't succeeded.![]()
I was trying to be negative like the majority of posters in here seem to be.
Hell, even Mags did a better job of it than I did when he tweeter LMA today and told him he was no longer our best player.

I wish we would have called heads in 1984.

Just not true.
Przybillas per 36 ppg average, 7 points. His best year only 9.5 points.
Lopez's per36 ppg average is 14.9, his lowest was 11.1 and last season was 15.7
Lopez's ortg average was 7 points higher. His OWS, 2.5 points higher. Those are both big numbers.
Lopez in not the defender Przybilla was, although he is improving. But offensivly Lopez is much better ( still nothing special) than Przybilla ever was.
At 24/25, wasn't Joel on the brink of being out of this league?
Joel Przybilla was the only John Nash "win" that I can think of.
Does it really read like that?
@magnifier661: @aldridge_12 you being our best player is up!
