Yates, anther JP-4 can, who in the hell selected this group of middlemen????????????????

...someone said that Castro had to wait to see if the ball DiDi hit was caught or not which is BS because Castro still scored easily...DiDi should have been right behind him.
...DiDi thought he had hit a HR, he was wrong, and they clearly showed him trotting to 1B...it would have been an inside the park HR...he should have scored, and he would have if he had been running all out.

...this team has looked bad on many levels tonight.

Whatever happened to "hustle, run that ball out, even if its a line drive hit at an Infielder, or a easy out ground ball.......keep running like Caitlyn Jenner is right behind you....

Only once good thing about Rose: Charlie Hustle.....other than that, he can go to a Vegas Therapist for help, or some love-

PS- will the Cubs INF start in the All Star Game....?

btw- good Question, who is deserving of this rag tag group to head to the A.S. Game....??? Re-instate Reggie..., Guidry too, buyout Rags from SF....?

I bet its Miller and/not Chappedhole, who heads to the A.S. Game to represent our Yanx....no one else consistent or able to stay healthy to go...!

Seen alot of talk on the boards about how brutal the 2nd half Schedule looks, brutal is an understatement.....

If I were a betting man, I'd wager the Yanx will wind up playing to a .350-.430 WP% for the 2nd half ....

if they can only hang at .500 (off and on again), the first half, they will really suck the 2nd...if that's how they're going to continue playing this season.....

No worries Yankee fans, by scoreboard watching I see that our friends the Cleveland Indians are ahead of the Tampa Bay team, If that score in Cleveland holds the Yankees 4th place standing is assured for another night. Fuck you Steinbrenners and Cashman for this terrible franchise, and take that number 8 off of those unforms, you bums are a disgrace to every standard that Yogi and Dickey played to.

It's not easy being a Yankee these days- right now I'll settle for them playing up to Mark Trumbo and Matt Wieters standards.

Another shitty loss, the game player fuck up award is unanimously awarded to SP Ivan "the terrible" Nova who failed to keep his team in the game right from the get go.

Maybe Miller but nobody else, Beltran is the only one on the ballot besides pitchers and he is trailing by a lot, pretty sad.

I'll take 9 Pete Roses on my team.
The others can go to church, unless they're betting AGAINST their own team- in that case they can go to hell. ♡

These Yankees have many labels, but one remains constant.........inconsistent.
And that run differential between runs scored and runs against at -23
just does not get lower........thanks to terrible hitting and lackluster
pitching.

Maybe tomorrow .........Oh, who am I kidding!

There's always tomorrow............It's only a day away. :rotfl:

This evening, Bump Texeira went 0 for 3 at Scranton. I'd say he's ready to
join the big club. :iamsmiling:

One question:
After Hal dumps TrashmanTrashcan and sells team, does Girardi have a lifetime job as Yankee manager?

Baltimore is 10 games over .500, Boston is 8 and Toronto is 5.
Neither one is going to be confused with being a powerhouse any time soon and this Yankee team looks lifeless, and I'm not talking about their BATTING AVERAGES.

I watch other "poorly constructed" bad teams play with much more fire intensity and cohesiveness than this group- they're a reflection of their manager.
My guess- his personality creates a tense nervous atmosphere, weak leadership qualities when things don't look "good", a poor in-game manager, and is absolutely overrated as a handler of "bullpens".

Yep, he can win when he has a few guys mashing a few HRs with a very good hitting team along with Andy Pettitte and vintage CC.
And so can you and I! lol

He still needed an all time great WS performance from Matsui to close the deal.

Yep, "all" managers need good players - but unles he does have a few good players, he actually harms the team's chances- imho

...Considering how terrible he was before the injury, the return of Tex may not be a good thing...and as far as Hal saying the key was for the Yanx to remain healthy, the team might actually be better off if some others were on the DL.

well, hmmmm, one can always write in names, ..... but not this year....

However- I am writing in Ichiro for an OF spot on my ballot(s)...
