OT Roe V Wade In Trouble

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Still a draft, so it won't become official for a couple months. We'll see if any of the justices opinions change by then, but I doubt it.

It's as good as done.

ABM and Maris are no doubt capering with glee thinking of the pain and distress this will bring millions of women. The suicides! The rapes! The forced abusive marriages! The girls and women quitting school, leaving jobs! The butchered broken bodies from self induced and back alley abortions! The women in prison! The neglected, abused and abandoned children, for which women will be blamed! Proving women are not only too stupid to make our own health decisions, we must be subject to men's firm control in all of our lives. And they are already talking about outlawing abortion in the entire country. And outlawing birth control. Overturning marriage equality. What joy! Oh, and allowing states to ban interracial marriage, sorry Justice Uncle Thomas. Can hardly wait, can you?

Oh yes. Go fuck yourselves, every man who thinks five people have the right to take away the lives of 150 million American women.

Whats even more depressing? the women who are perfectly fine with the right being taken away.

So I guess it's time to make the abortion pill ubiquitous and available to order anywhere online...

I'm sorry, but fuck these 5 assholes.

They are banning that as well.
Those men are absolutely determined. Women are incubators with no rights.

They banned alcohol and weed as well. Authoritarian BS doesn't fly for long. This ruling will not last.

This might kill the republican's chances of taking over the house and senate in the upcoming elections. If the democrats play their cards right this could be the tipping point...

I know, like they have any sense to do it right...

The frustrating part for me is that it just feels like Dems waited for this. So rather than moving ahead with a legitimate progressive agenda (which would be less personally profitable for them) they now have another profitable wedge issue to "fight" for a right women have had for half a century...

Had they codified it into law under Obama they would have lost this incredibly profitable wedge issue.

I doubt it, but you never know. Do you think they'll actually codify women's right to choose in that case?

I think it is time for a Stacy Abrahams style campaign on things that matter. If the Democrats (well, Stacy Abrahams) were able to mobilize the masses on the basics of human governance in the south, maybe there is a place to do it on basic human rights and separation of state and church nationwide.

I would be all for that.

Dems are great at waiting to have shit happen to them, play the victim about it (rightfully so in some cases) and then do jack shit about it, so they can complain about it in the next election cycle to raise capital.

There is a lot to fight for. The right has begun to dismantle every tent pole of progress that has been made over the last 100 years. Affectively eliminating black history from schools in red states, battering the liberty of the LBTGQ community, vilifying immigrants, and now attacking the heart of women's rights. Not to mention the right is taking over every state they can via gerrymandering.

Trump's vision of an "America made great again" is coming true. I for one am frustrated the Democrats have not been more vigorous in fighting back against it.

Before I adopt you, I want to see you in your Little Bo Peep outfit to make sure you're cute enough. And oh, you're going to have to hide that big schnozzle of yours.

Oh, what big teeth you have

Many D's want change, but don't have the weird cultish behavior/mindset that the R's have, when it comes to party affiliation or action.

It's kind of embarrassing just how bad the right mobilizes their base vs the left. One uses the fear of god, the fear of losing their power, and the fear of the other, while the other uses "please vote for us".

Women are incubators with no rights.

No kidding. Some don't even want them (women) to have the ability/right to raise their own children. Friggin government.

Which issue of the Made Up Journal of Bullshit did you find that little gem in?

Get ready for intellectual brain drain. Young intelligent people are not going to be staying in this shit hole of a nation.

Yeah, but thats WHAT they want. The 1950's was totally a day when you could be a high school graduate and make a good salary, tell women what they can do or not do, call them sluts if they slept with 1 guy before marriage, call black people "******", call Asians "******" and "****" and call jews "****".

Oooh, good times ya'all, good times!

They want serfs.

Pretty much. They want a caste system, with white men at the top, and everyone else below, and barely any room for people who are different but have to 100% agree with the power structure as they see it.

And before anyone says "nuh uh, we believe in equality"...look up with "equal" means first, you guys don't want equality, you want subservience.
