Abortion isn't medical care...for those who will never be pregnant.

I say again, those who insist they have the right to force themselves on women's bodies, whether rapists, forced birthers, or as they often are, both, go fuck yourself.

I mean, ok? Just stating "Adoption" doesn't seem relative to a discussion about a woman's right to choose.

That isnt all i stated though. I prefaced it with a comment/question.
I suppose I'm trying to pinpoint why the choice is considered medical when its not. Not for those we are discussing anyhow. Its a matter of convenience. Not health risks.
I think that convenience is not an inherent right. Not unless it create unhealthiness in the mother.
Am i going to tell a woman she cant do it? No but do i think its an inherent right when no health risks are prevelant? Mmmm
Id lean on no.

There are many choice that could be made prior to that seem to be dismissed.
Lets just put it this way.
I believe a woman should be able to have an abortion if they desire. Ut if it is out of convenience they are some of the least respectable people on this planet. Right above murderers and rapists.

Should they legally be able to have an abortion? Sure. They should be prepared for the backlash though.

And im sure they feel the same about you.
Your point? Or can the adults continue discussing without your insults???

It's a medical choice in that it's a medical procedure. It doesn't have to solely be for medical purposes, however, and that's that woman's right to make that choice about her body. And it's your right as well to judge someone as just above a murderer and a rapist for making a personal choice about their body.

i don't disagree with this.

She said individuals who want to control women's bodies can go fuck off. You said women getting an abortion for a non medical reason are just above murderers and rapists. Is that not insulting to a woman who chooses to get an abortion for a reason you don't agree with? Why is your insult ok?

So opinions are insulting? I didnt say anyone who disagrees can fuckoff. I simply stated my opinion aNd i have no doubts there is a passive aggressive motive with her, considering you and i were having a mature conversation with no insults, no labels, no emotions taking over.
But yet she felt compelled to tell people to fuck off. Im pretty sure she isn't aiming it at you, so she aimed it at me, the only other one discussing at this time.
If she isn't mature enough to have a conversation about it without telling people to go fuck off, then i consider that her issue.
Not mine.
i stand by my post.

Opinions can be insulting, absolutely. Wouldn't most feel slightly insulted if someone had a strong negative opinion of them? If I was said to be just slightly better than a murderer or rapist for something I did, that I didn't think was a big deal, I would feel insulted, absolutely.
Crandc said anyone forcing themselves on a woman's body can fuck off. I wasn't insulted, because I'm not looking to force myself on a woman's body. You've stated you aren't legally trying to either, so why would you feel insulted as if that included you?

Did she have an abortion out of convenience?

Im not looking to force myself on anyone. But the meer fact she chose to insert that comment into the middle of our discussion is extremely telling.

Keep in mind this is someone who goes around calling guys mysoginists without any proof based on her opinion.
So then can i tell her to fuck off for that?

Im not gonna get caught in a conversation about another member here. Lets just say im not falling for the immature passive aggressive bullshit so often displayed.
If you would like to keep discussing abortions im all for it.

To me abortion isnt medical care. Its not improving her health. Its a chosen medical procedure.
Maybe semantics, but one is aimed at improving the health. The other is not.

A medical procedure is medical care

It can improve health. Physical health if the pregnancy is causing issues or mental health if the pregnancy is a result of rape etc

She is pissed that men think they have any right to think they can understand or have a say in abortion, and I don't blame her.

It's medical care. You go to a doctor to get it done.

mmm we will have to agree to disagree, though it is semantics i suppose, but i consider it more like a procedure. Removal of a wart, etc. except warts dont have potential to become a human being.
Care, to me, is treatment for something wrong.

Im not talking about pregnancies causing health issues.
I said that from the start.
We have been discussing healthy pregnancies, of which the Mother chooses to abort, due to the pregnancy being an inconvenience.

i already addressed mental issues as well…

Well, they don't now, since you killed them! Wart murderer!

Next up will be the outrage at birth control or sterilization....the god argument that nature intends for everyone to procreate and protect the integrity of sperm and eggs.....like I said...we're heading in Taliban territory ....after that society will create eunichs and perform clitorectomies to stop unwanted procreation and eliminate the female sex drive from the male experience....yes...clitorectomy is practiced by fundamentalist Muslims to keep the wives from straying.

well thats her issue. Not mine. If she is unable to handle other people discussing abortion whether she agrees with the opinions of the accusers or not is her issue. Not mine.
She can join the conversation in a mature way or yell at people to go fuck themselves, but don't think she isn't every bit as judgmental as she claims others to be.

Ive made it plain and crystal clear, i would never vote against abortion.
Its my right to discuss things though, is it not?
Maybe i change rr7’s mind? Maybe he changes mine? Is it forced?
We were having a respectable conversation in my opinion.
Why is it so bad to her we, I, am discussing this, to the point she makes a post telling people, me, to go fuck themselves?

it was clearly a passive aggressive jab at me.
ive apologized to her in private in the past for reasons im not sure of, other than she got upset last time i entered this abortion topic as well. But denied cause it was found too difficult to forgive me as if i committed some atrocity…like i picket abortion clinics or something..

i already said i don't want to discuss other people like this here, because well, you know why. Please don't drag me into something I'm only gonna get blamed for….

I already know in her eyes im a mysoginistic woman hater and suppressor…

The only ones enraged are those telling others to go fuck themselves.
A conversation was being had… nothing more.

smfh….

all medical procedures require a degree or license, do they not?

i dont think thats a qualifier…
If it requires a medical degree it is medical care. As any medical procedure is medical care.

Like i said. Semantics. I explained my opinion of the differences.
Regardless the pregnancy is not a health risk. So its a choice of convenience, or the lack of.

I wonder how many children alive throughout time could have been considered an inconvenience?

Your more than welcome to have discussions. This is a forum after all.

Im just saying I see where she is coming from.

Then you arent seeing her passive aggressive behavior towards me. You think the timing of her post was coincidence?

you agree i should go fuck myself for discussing this? Or bringing up the questions i do?

because that is 100% what she meant regardless of the coyness of it.

Pregnancy is a health risk. A health risk to the mother, and a health risk to society as a whole.

Forcing women to carry unwanted pregnancies to term has been shown to result in higher crime and poverty rates.

Removing that restriction results in lower crime rates and poverty rates.

okaaayyy but pregnancies are required for the human race to continue…
now you are arguing semantics.
You know what else is a health risk? Breathing, stepping outside of ones home.
plugging something into an outlet.

Health care has never been better. To state pregnancies are a health risk like not wearing mask, if you will, is not an apple to apple comparison…

Survival of the human race, and breathing being a health risk has really seemed to devolve in to the point of arguing just for the sake of arguing, something you always claim you hate so much on here.
The core issue, healthy or not, is a woman's right to choose, regardless of why she makes that choice.

Okaaaay... And these are risks you might want to take if you're interested in reproducing.

Probably not results you'd be interested in if you didn't want to reproduce.

okaaay but if one didnt want to reproduce there are many ways to enjoy sex without getting pregnant.
