Just something I overheard, there should be a press release soon!

I wonder how many votes Travis will get :p

Congrats big time to B-Roy. That should undoubtedly put him among the NBA's elite players now. I'm surprised though that Chauncey got so little consideration.
Even LaMarcus got four votes!

The voting breakdown.

I thought Deron was Deron? Not even 3rd team? Way to go Quick, ya fuckin douche!

Congrats to Brandon! Well deserved.

Congrats B! This is very cool!

Wow!!! I thought he'd make 3rd. Mozel tov to Roy, the Blazers, KP and all.

I think he's the youngest (in terms of experience, not calendar age) on the list, no?

I'm still waiting for Stephen A Smith to eat his words on draft night. With really hot salsa.:devilwink:

Haha.. a reminder of Quick's original ballot:

WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!

Rookie of the Year

All-Star - twice

Now, All NBA.

Compiling quite the resume.

Why would you wonder this? Congrats to B-Roy!

I think it was in reference to Travis getting a vote on all defensive team.

What a mountain of achievements for someone who's only played 3 years in the NBA. This road leads to the hall of fame...

I'd take the second team over the first in a seven game series. Provided Yao managed to stay healthy.

I dunno.. thats a TON of firepower on the 1st page.. matchup nightmares all over the place. Would be an interesting series though I agree.

Year 1: Rookie Of The Year
Year 2: All-Star
Year 3: All-NBA, Second Team
...
Year 4: All-NBA, First Team
Year 5: MVP

It's just pattern completion. Almost like a mathematical proof.

There is no spoon....

and there is only one ball.

Hard to go against LBJ, though.

well yeah but its all NBA teams.. the same could be said for the #2 team.

I think the first team and second team are pretty close, assuming Yao is healthy. LeBron James can't be matched, but Yao and Duncan would help provide the second team a team defense that the first team can't match.

Oh. What an odd comment to make in a thread about the first Blazer to make an All-NBA team since 1992. :dunno:
good grief it was a joke about Travis getting All-D votes... I even included a smiley with his tongue out for the humor impaired.

Whats more odd... making a topical joke or offering congratulations to someone who won't read it?

Classic! I always wonder what the point of threads like this is... Does it make people feel better about themselves to have posted an anonymous congratulations? Like the recipient is going to know, let alone give a damn...

You left out:

Year 6: NBA Champion
Year 7: NBA Champion....

Can we just retire Roy's number now and it get it over with? He can still wear it for the rest of his career, but when he leaves/retires no one else gets to be the magnificent 7.

Someone ought to forward this to that douche Utah Jazz blogger who said:

"But Brandon Roy is no Deron Williams."
