Well, this is pretty shitty news. I wish Martell would be here playing, at least he would've been capable of filling in some of Roy's minutes. Agghhh... the injury bug strikes again on this team.
 
Oh boy. Now our playoff chances are in doubt. I hope Roy heals fast and then stays healthy the rest of the season (and his career).
 
7-10 days...a few games...doesn't make or break a season unless we're talking about that last weeks of the season.
 
Well, we were probably going to lose the Lakers game anyways, but 3-4 games after that? Damn....
 
The upside is it should give Rudy some significant minutes at Roy's spot.

I've kinda wanted to see what Rudy could do in that role, despite his struggles of late. Personally, I could think of worse backups than him. Besides, he's played against Kobe on a bigger stage than this. That's not a promise, but it sure isn't working against him.
 
I actually think missing Roy for awhile could turn out to be a "good" thing in the long view. Let's face it, this team isn't going to be winning a title this year and is probably about 50/50 to make the playoffs (depending on a lot of different unknowns) to be honest I think Brandon covers a lot of "sins" for this team and without him I think KP gets a long hard look at his roster minus the straw that stirs the drink, so to speak.

Let's see what we've got, let's see some guys try to step up for more than a game or two.
 
Ouch. Hopefully L.A. can get his groove back and lead this team in scoring for a while. This is a bad time for our best player to be out a stretch, but it could be a good growing experience for the squad.
