Roy shoots 3 of 10 from the line and then blames his poor play on his hamstring?

"I haven't felt great since I came back from my hamstring (injury),'' Roy said. "Tonight it really showed. ... My mid-range game doesn't feel as good as before I got hurt.''

Booo! Just play! You played great vs New Jersey. What changed tonight?

These guys aren't robots.. it could feel better one day and not so good the next.

Good point. Still, I'd rather hear him say "If I had made my FTs, we would've won. The loss is on me, not my hamstring"

That probably would've been the best thing to say.. but I'm sure he's taken the loss hard enough. He knows he screwed up at the line, no need to continue to pile on the guy.

I feel bad for this thread. Please delete, mods. I was just pissed cuz we lost.

It's OK - no need to delete the thread . . . it's just one of many reactions that is thrown up here win or lose.

Anyways, I just kept thinking that Raja Bell must have a voodoo doll resembling B.Roy that he jabs with sharp pins on gameday every time they play b/c Roy never seems to do well against R.Bell. Roy will wake up in a cold sweat wrestling with his blanket thinking it's Raja Bell.

he was grabbing his hammy at the end of the NJ game. I wouldn't be surprised to see him shelved again.

STOMP

false, bell didn't do anything particularly special tonight. roy was a step slower and was leaving wide open shots and most of his FT's short. he was obviously hurting.

Roy never plays well againt Raja Bell. If Bell doesn't do anything special, then Roy must save his bad games for Bell...and Bruce Bowen

the only thing that made it a bad game for roy was missing wide open shots that he normally hits and FTs.

Raja Bell caused Roy's misses at the FT line.

Where's a thread for blasting Outlaw? He shot 4-15 last night. That's just terrible.

Yeah if he had hit at his season average he would have had a 25 point, 6 assist, 6 rebound night -- hardly the suck fest he usually has against Bell.

Roy has historically NEVER played well against Raja Bell.

As I have commented in every game thread since he came back, he didn't look like he was healthy or feeling well. This is not on his hamstring, it's on his ego.

If he's unable to give his best, he should tell the coach and sit down.

He's not the only player on the team, his starting position is not being challenged, and the team is better off limiting his minutes than risking worse injury and losing games. :tsktsk:

What, like Tracy McGrady? No thanks.
