Rudy, Sergio, lose in Euroleague final

Real Madrid just Lost to Maccabi Tel Aviv, people are very happy in Israel.
Rudy was Rudy, Sergio was the best player for Madrid.

I would totally be down with bringing back Sergio, but would he want to come here again? I would take Rudy too, but from what I understand he didn't really like Portland, and I don't think we'd be getting Rudy pre-Ariza.

Rudy wasn't bad BTW, he was just about the same player he was when he left. Sergio grew a beard, a 3 point shot and balls, still lost the game, him and Rudy were probably best players for Real, Rudy disappeared in the 4th quarter and overtime while Sergio tried to lead them to victory but failed.

Sergio actually got worse when he went from Sarge to D'Antoni. Rudy had a very effective rookie season.

Neither can play a lick of defense, so if the Blazers were to bring them back, I guess I won't see any criticism of the defense next year.

Sergio runs the offense so well. He has a 3 point shot and improved ability to attack the basket (got blocked on a key play, though) which gives him more freedom to do what he does best: run the offense, make good decisions, the right pass - things he was good at with the Blazers as well.

Which should pretty much end any and all talk about Sergio. The same posters whining about perimeter defense think that Sergio is a huge defensive upgrade over Mo. Both are bad defenders, and Sergio already flamed out in the NBA once. If D'Antoni couldn't make him even an average NBA PG, why do people think he's suddenly going to blossom under Stotts?

I pull for Sergio, because under McMillan he was at least a passable NBA back-up, but no thanks.
