I think Portland is on the right track. Give Portland a pick and they will do it. It would be soo nice if we could manage to grab 2-3 picks in this years draft. Maybe use Wallace as well for another contender.

Would be essentially paying 5 million for a first rounder. I'm okay with that .... if that's how it goes down.

As long as Crawford and Felton are gone before the trade deadline, I will be a happy Blazer fan. That experiment screwed us. Addition by subtraction.

A GM with a clue of how to draft would be awesome before we start stockpiling picks. Some of the best draft scouting is done in March.

Chad Buchanan with more than one first round pick...

I don't like the sound of that. He could do a lot of damage. And that's not a good thing.

How so? Price is a tiny expiring contract.

^He has a friend that's a GM...... he told him.

Not just the Indiana trade. It said the first team to offer a 1st round pick would get him. Most teams would have to balance salaries.

Salaries are pro-rated anyways, so we've already paid more than half of Crawford's salary. Either way, it's going to be between 3-6 million.

It also speaks volumes about someone's confidence in Nolan Smith

I wish, but more than likely, we'd turn around and deal our TPE from the deal to the Lakers for Blake and a 1st.

Both those make sense

Price is not our PGOTF by the way. He does not have the tools.

Pick is the real asset i that trade. Not Price.

Peter Vecsey, so it is probably completely wrong.

Peter Vecsey of the New York Post writes that the Minnesota Timberwolves are not interested in trading guard Luke Ridnour, who has been linked in trade rumors with the Portland Trail Blazers in a swap for Jamal Crawford.
---------------------------
Reports that the Timberwolves are in talks with the Blazers regarding a Luke Ridnour-Jamal Crawford swap is bogus. While the eighth best team in the West definitely can use a starting scoring guard, Ridnour is going nowhere.

good, didn't want to see POR trade for him anyway.....

There again probably doesnt apply to us (nor am I sure I would want it to) but for those interested:

The Bucks are now willing to listen to trade offers they receive from rival teams in regards to Andrew Bogut, according to sources.

Sources say the Bucks will only entertain trades from teams willing to take back Stephen Jackson.

Bogut is likely to remain with the Bucks, however, because he is currently out with a fractured left ankle.

“The price (for Bogut) is high,” one interested suitor told ESPN.com this week.

The Wizards are among the teams most interested in Bogut, according to sources.

Camby, Crawford, Batum works for Bogut and Captain Jack. Certainly would add some toughness once Bogut is back.

I can't see Milwaukee being interested in anything that didn't include Batum.

Best case would be to take Beno in and swap Wallace for Batum, and hope they are interested to clear more salary and accept Bogut is damaged goods.

Good. I never thought Ridnour was worth $4m of the cap we have this summer.

I really don't want to see this team trade for yet another broken down big man. At least with Greg we drafted him without 100% certainty that he was going to be broken down all the time. With Bogut you can remove all doubt.

This is not a good trade for a team looking to rebuild -- and that needs to rebuild.

Yeah, trading for an injury prone Center pushing 30 doesn't sit well with me.

But nothing would surprise me with Larry & Chad running the show.

If Batum is going out, Jennings better be coming back
