“The Trail Bazers enter Saturday on an 11-game winning streak and with a firm grip on the third spot in the West. Damian Lillard (26.8 points, 6.6 assists per game) has entered the second-tier of the James Harden-led MVP conversation, with backcourt mate C.J. McCollum (21.8 points per), and big man Jusuf Nurkic (14.1 points, 8.1 rebounds per) all contributing for coach Terry Stotts’ squad.

There has been no shortage of statement games for Portland. The most recent was a dominant win over Cleveland, with wins over Golden State, Oklahoma City and Minnesota during this winning streak as well. By the way, we told you the Blazers were headed for a top-four finish in early November (victory lap, here).”

“Dominant win” over Cleveland?? What’s this guy talking about?? We got dunked on by LeBron James. Has Amick heard about that? It was all over ESPN!! Everybody was talking about it!!! How can Portland possibly win anything? We got dunked on by LeBron!!!

LeBrons dunk counts as 3 wins for Cleveland.

I know. Well, you have to admit that it’s pretty impressive that a guy who is 6’8” tall, has legs the size of oak trees, and has been practicing for 20 years, can jump up and throw the ball through a hoop from 1’ away. I mean, damn, that’s right up there with a world record swim by Michael Phelps in terms of athletic achievements.
