Simply put he's a lazy player. Jogging after a passed ball cost a run and it's inexcusable to be jogging to first on the last play of the game.

...yup, said that last night after the play in the first inning...he should be benched/fined.

Saw video of that play, Sanchez totally embarrassed the franchise with an excessively sloppy play. Boone should have nailed his butt promptly instead of letting him stay in the game to achieve the credit for making the last out. Billy Martin had no problem pulling 3 World Series Ring Reggie out of game against Boston back in '77. Noted that Sevey and Gardner were on Sanchez case did not notice Boone involved. Some one noted on pre-game conversation that Sanchez has gone the route of Jesus Montero so help his ass along the way. But Manager Boone being the great communicator will assure us all that Gary will "come along" and be himself. The General Manager & owners should be involved in actions taken as well.

..."I could have done a better job"........yeah, no shit Gary;

...also noticed after looking at the replay of the 1st inning play, that once Sanchez finally got to the ball and threw it too late for Seve to tag the runner out at home, Seve seem to give Sanchez a sort of "WTF?" look....I wonder if that got in Seve's head and caused him to fume and lose his concentration on the mound?
...something else that is a pet peeve of mine...our children are forced to take Spanish classes in school, but Sanchez, who has been playing in this country for SEVEN years now but has not even bothered to learn how to speak enough English to the point of still having to rely on an interpreter during interviews?

I got a real hard on for that language thing as well. He lives, works, well paid and has not a reciprocal courtesy to learn the language. I don't think Boone has the balls to bench him, nor Cashamn to back up his manager if he does.

According to the twits at ESPN the Yankees aren't going to win anyway. Sanchez only caused a one game loss and plenty of footage can be found of great players not hustling. Also that Boone shoud communicate with his player in a "kind and gentle manner" according to modern standards. I say to heel with that, bench the SOB but again Boone doesn't have the sack to do so.

There was a Cartoon Video on Twitter of Sanchez jogging on the Bases it's hysterical.

Now yanks saying Sanchez reinjured his groin which makes sense because he hasn’t run hard since he was reinstated. We can get by with Romine and shitikaka till he comes back

More like he has “Sonny Gray-itis.” His feelings are hurt and he can’t handle it. Trade him. Seriously. The primadonna attitude and lackadaisical effort are unnecessary. Trade him and get back a legit starter. He can certainly bring that back and Romine has shown he is a more than capable catcher and he actually can hit for contact and not power, which is something this lineup desperately needs also.

Saying Sanchez reinjured his groin is probably a cop out by the "Brass" and a trip back to the DL means that no balls Boone will have to day anything. Trad him, that's an idea but who the hell would want him.

...I call BS on that report...for one, Sanchez said nothing about his groin after the game. Secondly, Sanchez barely ran out of the box on that last play and did not run hard until he realized that Hicks was not out at 2B...people with bad groins can't do that. This is damage control after the fact, either by Sanchez or the Yanx.

Was it this one? We all know what Billy Martin would do and say. Even Joe would be throwing a fit. Joe, Jooooeee, JOOOOEEEEYYYY please come home.

baBoone is 6 feet over his head. This is what happens when you have a rookie manager who has to be so tender and delicate with big fucking egos!!! Correction he doesn't have to be he, chooses to be,. baBoone's another primadonna, and we all know how players reflect from the example set by a Mgr....

Yes that's it. :rotfl:

Uh-Huh, er well uh, maybe, perhaps, in the event of, I was looking elsewhere, he didn't mention, oops duh, babble, babble, babble like a brook. More full of shit than a septic tank. I'll bet Girardi is laughing his ass of this sham of a manager.

^^^^
"First off I got to watch things, gotta watch the tapes too, and see what I'm seeing, uuhhhmmm, we have conversations with our guys, positive, negative whatever, uuhh ugghhh, but but nut uuhhh, first we got it see things to see what we're seeing; well uuhh uuhh well..."

baBoone's looosssst, over his head, isn't so camera saavy under the lights.
Atrocious Trashman's a venteiloquist to baBoones clone dummy. Look real close and you'll see boom setting on trash man's knee, look even closer you'll see Trashman's fingers sticking out of Boones throat; he's got his hand so far up his ass.

Wow i cant imagine how you guys would react towards the manager and general manager if we were sitting where say the mets are.....

29 games over 500 and the manager and gm are trash and a monkey

...Al, we've been down this road before and we will root for our team as we see fit...if you choose to sing a chorus of Kumbaya concerning the Yanx, well, that's up to you. But personally I couldn't give 2 shits about the Mets or any other team doing. The Yanx are staring at maybe being out of the PS if they don't start winning at much better clip...they're been a .500 team over the last 30 games and have gone from leading the division by 2 games (4 in the loss column) to trailing Boston by 5 1/2-6 games...and if you're OK with that too, again, fine...but don't tell us how we should feel about this team.

Arent u a bit touchy..geez

I didnt tell you or anyone else how to cheer or not to cheer..

But you would think its the end of the world when the yanks have the THIRD best record in MLB..a 646 winning % with
Winning records against boston and houston the two teams with better overall records currently.

646 winning % would have been the best record in baseball in 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005....
Only the 2004 cards had a better winning percentage in the last 14 years.

My theme is fuck the other teams I care about the Yankees. You can't say 27 Championships with conviction when your last was 9 years ago. And yeah when I see my team get its ass kicked continually by Tampa & Baltimore I get really pisses. And when the alleged HOF catcher on my team fails to hustle on plays twice in one game I really get smoking. That catcher embarrassed his team, it's fans now a laughing stock of others. Manager does nothing. I want to see this team out taking names and kicking ass like the great Yankees Teams I've seen since '55. I'm not high on Boone either, Girardi should have been the one to transition this team over but they chose Boone. An I too believe that if a turn around is not made they could be on the outside looing in this October. Like the song goes "we'll root, for the home Team" fuck the others.

...uhhh, no, I'm not touchy at all, just telling it like it is. Who said it was "the end of the world"?...has anyone here thrown in the towel, has anyone ere stopped rooting for the Yankees?...not sure why you correlate pointing out things that we are displeased with as being "the end of the world".

...and yes, Al...I can read the standings too and I'm well aware of their record and winning percentage is. Do you know what their record was "30 games" ago?...like I said, they've been playing .500 ball for the last month or so and I'm sorry to break it to you but if they continue at that clip they won't finish with ".646 winning %" so your point concerning that is moot.

...again, wave your pom poms all you want if it makes you feel better but many of us feel differently.

fwiw, I'm still pissed about Sanchez and still not buying him being on the DL with a groin problem...but I guess that's the Yanx' way of sweeping things under the rugs and avoid publicly chastising Sanchez for his sloth.

...Physically, I don't think there's anything wrong with him and maybe, just maybe, Yanx management decided to tell Sanchez that in lieu of suspending/benching/fining him, the were going to give him a "time out" by putting him on the DL and telling him to take his ass home and get his mind right and for him to decide if he really wants to be a part of this organization...and re-evaluate him upon his return and any further lapses in hustle would result him being demoted to the minors until which time he proved himself to be worthy of wearing the pinstripes.

The problem Al, isnthat we are the third best team in the AL, not the league and we have been losing ground. That’s a concern, whether you want to agree with people or not. As has been stated, we have been a .500 team lately. While others ahead of us and behind us have been getting better we keep floundering with little to no direction. Our starting pitching is not improving, but we keep throwing Cessa and German out there coupled with Gray. Our hitting is suffering, we DH Walker. Just a lot of head scratching moves that this team has (and has not) been making lately.

Another thought for thee Yankees diminishing record. Seattle & now Oakland are hanging right in there for that Wild Card Slots. The Yankees have 6 games back to back against those teams starting three September. Remember last year when the Yankees went 1-6 vs the Angels and A's, not pleasant then and less pleasant now the A's have improved. The Judge/Stanton as Mantle and Maris idea to this point has gone astray along with other offensive shortcomings have come into play since 1 July. If this team doesn't start kicking ass they could find themselves on the out side looking in!!!!

ESPECIALLY when you have the winning CHANCE. Poor attitude equals a sports life elsewhere.

Remember when at the beginning of the season they played like garbage then started winning like what 12 or 13 straight series..its a 162 season and u have highs and lows..i would love to aee if there is a stat out there where a team was wining at a 64% rate at the allstar game ends up.

Is this team perfect..hell no..but its not horrible...im not concerned..6 games up from being out of the playoffs...

If we its too far of a reach to finish first it should be just as too far to fall out of the playoffs.

...Al, seriously, wtf does the past have to do with now?

...and who in the hell said this team is "horrible"?...please stop making shit up and putting words into people's mouths that they did not say.
