I'm confused a bit...you going to show me where the UN (or any other non-attention-whore body) convicted them of war crimes? I just gave you a list of who HAS been. And which "Torture prisons" are you talking about? Guantanamo?

The tribunal’s rulings have no judicial power ...the tribunal is an international body comprised of lawyers and judges from various countries including the U.S. and modeled after a 1967 Vietnam war crimes panel convened in Sweden and Denmark by philosophers Bertrand Russell and Jean-Paul Sartre... the tribunal has no enforcement powers.

Attention whores based on philosopher judges! That's how they can come up with garbage like this:

I don't know....one is that the Hague is The International Court of Justice, commonly referred to as the World Court or ICJ and is the primary judicial organ of the United Nations. It's not the "West", it's the UN. The International Criminal Court has 153 signatories, of which the US is no longer a member, but Russia is...hardly a "West" tribunal. This is a mock "trial" in Kuala Lampur.

I didn't say they had to be convicted by a U.S.-controlled institution like the U.N, just that they had to have committed horrible acts in a war situation.

Cheney cancelled a trip to Canada a year ago because everyone was going to let him know he's a war criminal. One of those top 5 guys cancelled a trip to Africa last year because he would have been arrested. As for pretending not to know about torture prisons, I'm sure you read the news during the Iraq War. You couldn't miss it.

I read it. Which "horrible act in a war situation" did Bush and Blair commit? Or Cheney, or Rumsfeld, for that matter? I mean, since we started with "only murderers should be executed" and now we're at "leaders who make decisions we don't like are going to be tried in absentia in a clown court and executed" I'd like to know your "facts".

If you think the US "Controls" the UN, we're on so very different planes of reality that it's probably useless to continue.

The UN is a joke. Countries only listen to the UN when the UN takes a position that follows that courtry's position. The whole asking UN to invade Iraq and when they said no US invaded anyways gave me a good indication of the value of the UN.
