Respectfully disagree. What happened to Gabby this year in Columbus is unrelated to how he would have been here. Different time, place, situation. Nash is exactly what I said he was before the trade. Unless it drastically changes, I have been proven right. If the Nash trade was not made, Gabby's contract would not be an issue. Gabby put up 40 goals for us twice in 3 years, had a least 1 GW playoff goal, actually laid his body on the line much more than Nash, yet Nash has been revered here and Gabby was constantly criticized, then shown the door. Moore is awful. He's out of position more than any dman on this team, including DZ, yet no one ever says a thing about Moore. Dorsett is a useful 4th liner. I don't mind him, but that's what we get for Gabby? Sure the jury's still out. Five years down the road we'll be able to tell. So far it's awful, and there was no need for either deal. A bomber at the point, a little change in philosophy, and a few roster tweaks is all that was needed, not changing the entire essence of the team.
