"The third-year guard is likely to require a ramp-up period before being cleared for game action.

Henderson is also slated for heavy restrictions once he's deemed ready to take the court for Portland."

Hell yeah hopefully we can get him the court soon even if it’s a little run in G league

10

Months

Later.

Lmao.

(I may be exaggerating, point still stands, before someone goes bzz bzz 8 months 3 weeks 2 days 1 hr, 32 minutes and 25 seconds)

Yeah excited to see him on the floor.

Now for due diligence of course we have to listen to any Giannis trade offers or offers for the Bucks picks.

But I really am excited to just see this team has as it is. We have a lot of young players that have made big improvements. Scoot might have the most talent of them all.

We move one of these guys and in a couple years we could have major regrets just like the Jermaine Oneal trade.

You may be exaggerating? Do you not know if you're exaggerating?

Let’s slow down sending Deni to the Hall of Fame just yet….Jermaine O’Neal was a dominant force in this league for quite a long time.
I don't know about the dominant "quite a long time" part. He had a 5 year run he was an allstar in Indy. His body broke down before he was 30 though.

But yeah Deni is in year 1 of elite play so not close to that level yet. Also scoring 30 ppg in today's game is about the same as 20ppg in that late 90s era. Was a different game back then. Those were some great contending Pacer teams too. Deni has been the alpha on a playin level team - but I want to see how he fits on a playoff or even better yet contending squad. Lots of guys can put up individual stats on losing teams.

So two more months?

Esp when you’re given the ball on every play. Kind of what we did with Brandon Roy. It can only take you so far though.

So far after returning, scoring/shooting-wise, Scoot has posted some good/very good numbers.

The 80% 2-point shooting and 71.6% True Shooting percentage won't be sustainable, but what if he can stay in the range of Avdija's 60.6% True Shooting percentage? If Scoot can keep getting to the free-throw line and hitting his 3-pointers it should be possible.
Strangely (or not) Scoot is taking 2/3 of his shots as 3-pointers.
Scoot is capable short-term of being a star-level scorer in the NBA. He showed that last season too. Hopefully it will become a season-long and career-long thing.

By the way, the numbers below also show that Jerami Grant is scoring much better than he did last season.

Geez when was the last time we had two 20 PER players on the team?

Scoot is still a stud prospect. Anyone who has given up on him, may not be wrong in the long run but they are wrong for doing it so soon. His three point shot has improved drastically since entering the league, the game is slowing down for him on offense, his defense just keeps getting better and that attitude is something that couldn't be better. Oh and obviously from the beginning his athleticism is amazing.
