as others have said expect rust and hope for him to finish the season without missing any games because of injury
as for the
aldo vs king standard....lol, we may have a new S2 gauge. but....
thing is with the following I know the sample sizes are massively different and probably unfair to Scoot, but Scoot last season vs Wesley this season:

* Scoot scores 5.4 more points by taking 3.3 more FGA and making 2.3 more FT's
* Blake has better FG% and 2ptFG%; Scoot has better 3ptFG%, FT% and TS%
* Blake is better at assist average, turnover average, assist rate and turnover rate
* Blake is a better rebounder
* Blake doubles-up Scoot in steal average and steal rate
* Blake has better marks in PER; winshare/48; and BPM
pretty clearly Blake is the better, more disruptive defender. He also pushes transition at an elite level although the results are often the opposite of elite
(
note: Blake has played 2,365 minutes over 164 games; Scoot has 3,524 minutes over 128 games)
from this skewed unbalanced 8 game sample for Blake, he's pretty clearly a better backup PG at this point. So what I'd like to see from Scoot is him demonstrate by the end of this season that a 3rd pick in the draft is clearly on a better trajectory than somebody Cronin dug up from the NBA scrap heap
