Oh helllllllllllll no

Just when I thought this forum would never mention this guy again, here we go…

You know this guy been considering retirement? At this point I almost want to get him so that everybody can stop talking about wanting him.

Let's hope it was a grade 1 tear. (grade 2 at the worst)

"Henderson initially thought the injury was minor, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, but magnetic resonance imaging testing revealed it to be worse than expected."

"A grade 1 hamstring tear is a mild strain of one or more hamstring muscles, resulting from overstretching or sudden forceful contraction."

This gives the Blazers time to showcase Holiday to the Rockets. When Scoot comes back, we can send Holiday to the Rockets.

This would be a fantastic trade for us in December. I like the idea that if Jrue and Rob have stayed healthy by Christmas that Sacramento will want both guys badly and maybe Atlanta would want to add Tisse to their team. So a trade like this might happen.

<stock up> point deni
<stock up> yang minutes
<stock up> jrue injury risk

Freaking A that really stinks. Hate to see that especially right before the season.

It does suck, but if he only misses a month, then now is better than midseason. He technically could only miss a few games.
4 weeks from today is only game 2 of the regular season.

But this is the Blazers, so the 1-2 months probably means 2-3 months.

bad news. but hopefully we see him in november?

Not sure why anyone has a harmstring, with a name like that it seems like you just should have it removed.

If this was the old Blazers, it would mean a microfracture surgery on his hammy.

Too soon?

It sounds like what somebody who can't remember the name "garotte" would call it.

I'm hearing Ted Cruz doing his Goodfellas impression: "Nice neck ya got there, be a shame if a harmstring got wrapped around it"

yeeeeesh....a serious injury a week BEFORE training camp....I sure hope this isn't one of those things that happens in three's

Fuck
I have always been a little worried about this type of injury for Scoot. I have no medical data for this, but it always seems like athletes with huge quadriceps muscles are more susceptible
It's a thing. If you do a lot of leg extensions for those Darnell Valentine thighs, you HAVE to balance it out with the proper amount of leg curls.

Won’t start “basketball activities” possibly for 8 weeks. Not return to play.
