Martin for Ford?
Oh, I wonder if Marks went back to NZ to tend to family matters after the big quake...
...or maybe they slapped a sticker on his shirt saying "Hi My Name Is JOEL PRZYBILLA" and are hoping MJ thinks all white guys look alike or something.

Canzano says that Marks being waived clears spot intended for Ford.
Not necessary to clear room for Ford though....
Cunningham & Przybilla clears 2 spots for Wallace (1 spot)
Why waive Marks then?
Something else is going on....
LAMONSTERRRRRRRRRRRRWe need another big now. Who is going to be Camby's back up?

Aldridge.
Foul trouble or injuries will be a problem, but I'd like to see a three man front court rotation of Camby, Aldridge and Wallace. The team does need to pick up a big body for those foul trouble nights or in case of injury, but when things are going okay, I hope he remains planted on the bench.
Since we traded two players away for Wallace, why do we need to waive Marks to make room for Ford?
I'd still like another big for foul trouble purposes and such.
Jeez, how many minutes is LA going to have to play on Friday if Camby doesn't play and Wallace hasn't cleared his physical yet?
Marks was part of the Wallace deal according to someone I know. No linkage.
Ken Berger of CBSSports.com confirms that Marks was traded to the Bobcats.
