I'm into this series. Is it true the infection is airborne?
Now that Rick's wife is pregnant I guess their baby will already be infected because its breathing the moms same air.

Or this crazy idea from someone else.
what if Lori has a miscarriage and the baby dies inside of her and comes back as a zombie and is tearing her up from the inside and they have to try to get it out of her to save her ! just a thought

We have to wait until October to find out.

I'm glad that they finally left the Little House on the Prairie, though. Herschel and Dale were becoming tiresome. Kudos to whoever had them killed off in the script.

Plus, the new chick with the armless zombies chain to her will be an interesting addition to the cast.

The building in the background at the end of season 2 looked like a prison or mental hospital. I'm guessing that's where the chick came from.

Should be lots of fun!

I watched the first season and couldn't get into it. IMO none of the characters are even remotely likable.

The show is (IMO) very similar to Sons of Anarchy. Viewers keep coming back because they like the genre and are able to overlook poorly developed characters, sketchy writing and dialogue, and truly glacial pacing.

If TWD stays (generally) with the script of the comics business isn't really going to pick up once they head over to the prison (highlight to read, semi-spoiler).

Edit: Lori is one of the worst characters on television. Hopefully they make an effort to renovate her next season.

"The Walking Dead" has absolutely no plot. They need to stop this whole staying in one place for a whole season thing, too. Or at least make it somewhat exciting/entertaining.

I'd hate this show if I wasn't into the post-apocalyptic zombie genre.

walking dead is for girls, nothing but pregnancy drama, and love triangles, and crying about kids

I liked the first season, but the second season was not strong. I hope the third season picks up the pace a bit or I'll probably stop watching.

First season was pretty bad too. Absolutely no direction.

just finished season 2... I am thoroughly confused!

Turn it into a comedy. I love zombies who crack sarcastic jokes.

From the title I assumed it was a documentary on the Republican Party.

So someone explain this to me...

Everyone is already infected with the virus, so if you die you immediately turn into a zombie.

But if a walker bites you, you.... become infected and turn into a zombie?

it was in the script?

yeah, the few times I have caught this show, I failed to pick up on the buzz

Zombie movies/shows, and all horror for that matter, annoy the shit out of me because of their lack of common sense.

He was bit by a walker? I'll give him mouth to mouth!

Zombies everywhere? I'll go for a walk by myself in the dark!

And then there's Karl, who should have died in season 2 because he's the most annoying character in the history of television.

It's if you are bitten by a zombie and then have sever blood loss you die from the blood loss and then you become a zombie. I think that's what they are changing their answer to now. I don't remember if anyone was bitten and then had a fever and changed without severe blood loss.

See, but that can't be true because they pretty much told this one dude that there was nothing they could do for him because he had a scratch. They're still trying to play the "if a zombie bites you" card because it contributes to the fear of zombies, but they also wanted the added drama of people coming back from the dead even if they weren't bitten. It's pretty stupid.

It would seem that bites and scratches are fatal as a result of infection/fever. Swinging axes and sledgehammers around and spraying blood Manga style is apparently not a concern. The show has been a bit cloudy when it comes to dying vs. being infected. Mostly because the show isn't well written.

Heh.... yeah, that would make a lot of sense.

Zombie bites you, you might get an infection and die, CUT HIS LEG OFF!

Also, bonus points to the writers for, two episodes into the new season, having Karl run off on his own unbeknownst to Lori, as usual. They heard the complaints about Lori during the off-season and doubled-down on her being completely inept.

I don't think I've ever wanted anyone to die on TV as much as Karl. I hate that kid.

But he shoots guns and has slightly longer hair!

She's supposed to be like 16 but immature. Thankfully they've decided to make Daryl asexual. Everyone's favourite character and he spends every episode pointing his crossbow at people and stomping off in anger/frustration.

I can't find her age, but the actor that plays carl is 13.

I haven't found an exact age, but she graduated from college in 2006... so if she was 22 at that time, she'd be 28.

I've never had so much trouble finding an age for an actor. It's like they're intentionally hiding it.
