Sometimes a loss makes you feel like you lost to a superior team. Other times, you chalk it up schemes, injuries, fatigue....

That’s what I think most will chalk this up to. Can’t win them all. But not impressed by most of what the C’awks had to offer.

Not a big NFL fan but #notswayed
I think Seattle and SF are both good teams. SF has a ridiculously good defense and an Offense that is very sporadic. Seattles basically the opposite of that, but I think their offense is just, “good” and on nights like tonight where teams can get pressure in Wilson they look pretty mediocre. Luckily for them SF’s offense was into not catching the ball.

ive watched Seattle all season because it’s
Shoved down our throats. Theyre overrated only my opinion. Barely beaten a ton of what I consider weak opponents.

Their best wins are probably tonight and the Rams, and both were close so maybe?

Keep the clown takes coming my guy.

Bourne a Milwaukie HS kid. He looks to be a very nice receiver!

I'll have to ask my grandson if he knows him as my grandson played on an AAU basketball team that was a split of Milwaukie and Putnam kids. and his best friend went to Milwaukie as well as his best friends cousin who also went to Milwaukie and now pitches for the Angels and close to the same age as Bourne.

So Seattle won against a team that:

  • Didn't have their starting All-Pro TE George Kittle; the best TE in the league.
  • Had a LT who is 36 years old in his first game back from injury, who played like he's 50 (Clowny is a general no-show with only 2 sacks coming into this game....until he met senior citizen Staley). I love Joe, but it's quite clear this season that he needs to retire.
  • Didn't have Pro-Bowl WR Emmanuel Sanders for 3 quarters
  • Had a mediocre receiving corp with receivers that dropped 9 passes; their most "reliable" receiver is a rookie who dropped 2 of them
  • Had a RT Mike McGlinchy who is also in his first game back from injury, and played like shit (I'll brush it off as rust)
  • Has Solomon "Bust" Thomas getting pancaked on every play
  • Didn't have their All-Pro kicker (and if he was playing, this thread would be far different)
....in OT, by 3 points.

LOL, okay. Enjoy the win, 1-2s. Come back and see us when you beat a HEALTHY 9ers team with more than a single rookie at the receiving position.

Not a single team in the NFL is healthy at this point and they wont be until about mid - march...

I think the 9ers will be healthier in key positions by week 14, perhaps a bit earlier. But if that receiving corp continues to be shit outside of Sanders and Kittle, then it's going to be a struggle. If they catch even 5 of those 9 dropped passes, then they probably win that game.

Let's sign Dez Bryant, lol.

Ugh. There are fans who are actually considering this. Thankfully, we're not the only team.

I could see Dez, providing he could catch the ball, being a third-down threat, or maybe even an end-zone threat. But crossing routes and deep passes? No.
