So keeping secrets from spouses is ok now?

Lying is protected by the First Amendment. Nobody said it was okay. The bottom line is that it's not your decision. You cannot govern a woman's body. Why are we having to debate this? Can a woman Force us to get a vasectomy if she doesn't want anymore babies?

2 Abortion Foes Behind Planned Parenthood Videos Are Indicted
By MANNY FERNANDEZJAN. 25, 2016

HOUSTON — A grand jury here that was investigating accusations of misconduct against Planned Parenthood has instead indicted two abortionopponents who made undercover videos of the organization.

Prosecutors in Harris County said one of the leaders of the Center for Medical Progress — an anti-abortion group that made secretly recorded videos purporting to show Planned Parenthood officials trying to illegally profit from the sale of fetal tissue — had been indicted on a charge of tampering with a governmental record, a felony, and on a misdemeanor charge related to purchasing human organs.

Don't give @blue32 any new and truthful information. It's a waste of time. He's just going to stay in his little Breitbart bubble and believe this bullshit. Breitbart is fake news.

Funny how women want equality but dont want to take responsibility when it comes to having sex.

What if a man doesnt want the child but the woman does? Now he gets stuck with child support payments for 18 years.

If women want equality how about she pays the father 18 years of child support for every abortion?

Oh my. Sex!

Just found this site, with scary numbers.

http://www.numberofabortions.com/

Is that supposed to be the number of abortions after Roe v Wade? Well what it doesn't talk about is the abortions before Roe v Wade. Roe v Wade ended back alley and botched abortions. Lots of women died. Women will always seek abortion for one reason or another. If men could have babies we would have abortion clinics like Starbucks.

When you get married you dont just make major decisions for yourself anymore. You talk it over with your spouse, get their input, THEN make your decision. And if the spouse is a good one, they will support your decision even if they disagree.

Some of you probably shouldnt get married.

People shouldn't get married if they think they are going to own the other person. That kind of marriage still exists, but it's not a very modern or enlightened kind of thing.

I'm not sure what your complaint is. Yes, all marriages should be perfect. But they're not.

LOL.....thats the point. You share everything with your spouse. If you're not willing to do that, dont get married in the first place.

There doesnt need to be an owning the other spouse atmosphere. Thats disgusting.

It is also disgusting keeping secrets or hiding things from your spouse.

A reminder: Trump's trashing of John Lewis caused a massive sales spike in Lewis's graphic novel "March". This is the artist of that work, who is donating the surprise windfall to several worthy causes. So, once again, The Donald does Planned Parenthood a solid.

Not much you can do to prevent it, if your spouse chooses to have an abortion without telling you.

If you find out, you can end the marriage if that's what you really want.

Not all marriages are perfect, and it's not up to me to tell people they should or shouldn't get married. Though I pity anyone who does.

The Libertarian model. How awesome!

How so? If one believes that there are acts a person can commit that are deserving of death, it isn't inconsistent to also state that an unborn child has yet to perform any of those acts, and is therefore not deserving of death.
Clearly you've never heard of ORIGINAL SIN!!!??

So you're saying there's not a direct link between crime and poverty??
Strawman.

Untrue. I posted YOU real information from the Government report, and their press release last week. Your own choice to ignore that and call that #debunked. That report was not debunked.

It's funny you denounce any site you don't agree with as fakenews. I read many different sites to get all sorts of different angles. Brietbart just linked to the Government report which is on the .GOV bro. Get over yourself.

You could have quoted me on that. But thats your style.

I am just glad there are still honest people out there willing to share a life with a spouse instead of keeping secrets. I pity someone who thinks its ok for spouses to keep secrets.

Strawman, LOL. So is your abortion soapbox, you even admit that in an earlier post.

Again, the government report does not accuse PP as an organization of committing the illegal acts. They found a couple individual clinics/doctors in New Mexico involved in criminal activity.

He made no straw man argument.

It's a strawman argument. You're assuming a ton about the users of PP when you start linking poverty and crime rates in with this discussion. I will not go down that road because its a strawman argument that I wasn't even making, refuting, in the first place.

Planned Parenthood guilty of $13 million in abuse of taxpayer funds, other illegal activity, says report
1.) https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/n...s-planned-parenthood-taxpayer-abuse-of-nearly

"Planned Parenthood affiliates and clinics have repeatedly neglected their fiduciary duty requiring good stewardship of federal taxpayer dollars through the following: careless management and failed compliance with Medicaid billing procedures; violating federal laws and regulations pertaining to patient consent and the privacy rights of their patients; changing the method of abortion to increase procurement of fetal tissue for which they received a per tissue payment; and a general disinterest in clinical integrity. The Panel recommends that Planned Parenthood lose all federal funding, including reimbursements for Medicaid services."

Page 33 of the report: https://energycommerce.house.gov/si...s/Select_Investigative_Panel_Final_Report.pdf

1) The Panel discovered that the University of New Mexico may have been violating its state’s Anatomical Gift Act by receiving tissue from a late-term abortion clinic (Southwestern Women’s Options). Referred to the Attorney General of New Mexico.

2 & 3) The Panel conducted a forensic accounting analysis of StemExpress’ limited production and determined that it may have been profiting from the sale of baby body parts. Referral sent to El Dorado, California, District Attorney, and the U.S. Department of Justice.

4) The Panel learned that StemExpress and certain abortion clinics may have violated the HIPAA privacy rights of vulnerable women for the sole purpose of increasing the harvesting of fetal tissue to make money. Referred to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

TAKEAWAYS:

  • Planned Parenthood does not need federal subsidies.
  • Planned Parenthood is self-sustaining.
    • Reported revenue of $1.3 billion in their most recent annual report.
    • Reported $127 million in net income and reported holding $1.4 billion in assets for 2013-2014.
  • Salaries at Planned Parenthood are lucrative.
    • President Cecile Richards was paid more than $2.47 million from 2009 to 2013, including $590,928 in 2013.
    • A significant number of Planned Parenthood executives earn in excess of $200,000 annually.
  • Planned Parenthood spends millions on travel, galas and real estate.
    • Spends nearly $14,000 a day on travel.
    • Spent $34.8 million in 2011 to purchase corporate office space two blocks from Madison Square Garden.
  • Taxpayer dollars subsidize Planned Parenthood’s political affiliates.
  • Planned Parenthood’s claim that only “three percent” of all health services provided are abortion services is false.
  • Over the last decade, cancer screenings at Planned Parenthood are declining while abortions are increasing.
  • Numerous alternatives to Planned Parenthood exist.

The press release: https://energycommerce.house.gov/ne...ect-investigative-panel-releases-final-report

"The Select Investigative Panel has worked hard to uncover the illegal and highly repulsive activities of the organizations involved in the sale and trafficking of baby body parts. Now it is up to the judicial system to hold the perpetrators accountable and up to Congress and the new Administration to see that these heinous acts are continued no longer. The way we treat our young, our weak, and our voiceless does matter. History will hold us accountable for these atrocities," said Congressman Joseph R. Pitts.

I created this thread to talk about the sale of body parts by PP, and the illegal activities that the report alleges. My stance on this organization is that I do not want to federally fund it. Period. If they want to operate and operate within the laws then they can do so by taking donations, or being self-sustaining as the oversight hearing found.

And you're assuming a ton when you say that all woman can get what they need from a normal doctor or over the counter. The return on investment from offering low/no cost birth control to people is through the roof. Even for profit health insurance companies have figured that out.

I am not opposed to low cost/no cost bc at all. I have never stated that. And defunding PP (from Fed funds) wont ruin that.

It's amazing to me that their President takes a salary of 2.4Million over those years . I'd love to hear DVISS position on the salary of the PP President, and their execs. Interesting numbers and from his previous positions about compensation, it would be interesting to listen to his take.

Luckily there are alternatives to Planned Parenthood.

Off topic a bit, but I'm curious what people's thoughts are if a woman claims to be on birth control, but actually is not and secretly wants to get pregnant from the guy, gets pregnant, and now wants child support from the father. It's her body. She chose not to use birth control, but now the guy has no choice whether to pay child support because he was lied to.

Before anyone says, "there's no 100% guarantee that birth control works," in this scenario, the guy wouldn't have had sex with her had she not lied, or at least would have worn protection.

That salary doesn't seem unreasonable.

Shit happens in life. If the worst that happens is you end up having a kid then you're not doing too bad.

Thanks Sly..I'll add, I think it's too much for a President of a Fed-Funded (taxpayer) position. But, I don't care how much the person makes after we stop funding them.

ALWAYS wrap-before-you-tap.

Since we're going slight OT here, check this out (man convicted of rape because he removed condom during consensual sex) ; http://www.aol.com/article/news/201...ring-sex/21653990/?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000058&

Obviously this woman can't be trusted because she's a liar and the guy should be wearing a condom. Unwanted pregnancy is the least of your worries with that Slore. :evilfire:

1/3 of PP's funding comes from Medicare and Federal and State grants. That is actually in line with what other large healthcare providers receive in government money. Note that many of these very large healthcare providers perform abortions.
