I think a lot of people who are so anti birth control or abortion and don't think the state should help them out should volunteer to work in the slums of Brazil or the Phillipines and gain some perspective to exactly what that culture leads to. Not a lot of Mother Theresa's left out there...I've seen orphan prisons...both my parents were orphaned during the great depression here...I'm pro choice and men have no business dictating women't choices in these matters....education needs to agree about some of these issues so kids become aware at a young age....humans aren't going to be responsible very often when it comes to sex most of the time, especially teens

In a perfect world all birth control would be 100% and all people would use it responsibly and all pregnancies would be agreed upon by all parties in advance but that's not how it works so it is now up to you to avoid repeating what you did. You should never have sex with a fertile woman unless you can deal with the repercussions of an unplanned/unwanted pregnancy. That is your personal responsibility.
