Well, I'm happy to move on to another game. That last one stung but before knowing who was sitting and then seeing them sitting even more in the fourth quarter I had this as a loss for us. I had all of the rest of these games as wins and I think they will be. We will beat Philly tomorrow and maintain the ninth spot which we still occupy, just like we did before we lost to the Clippers. We got this!!! Go Blazers!!! Hopefully we can address our roster problems in the off season but for now these are the guys we are rolling with and I want them to go as far as possible.

depending on what else happens tomorrow, if Portland loses, they could fall to 10th

Portland has to win 2 of their remaining 3 games to guarantee a better record than New Orleans. They sure don't want to be in a situation where they have to beat the Pels twice to advance

Is Whiteside injured or did he “rest” because of the back-to-back?

If the latter, someone needs to be fired! We MUST take this one game at a time or might as well go home...

We can still finish 8th. That should be the goal so we only have to win one play-in game

Memphis has a 1.5 game lead over Portland, and with games against Toronto, Boston, & Milwaukee left, I wouldn't normally expect Memphis to win a single game with Jaren Jackson. But none of the 3 teams they play really have anything to play for. They can't catch anybody and they can't fall behind anybody; their seeds are locked. So it's possible that the Grizz can win one of those remaining games and hold onto 8th

Honestly, I don't think it's likely but I hope that Memphis wins out. We can beat that Memphis team two times in a row (as long as we don't play like we did this morning). So if we can pass them great but if we just win our games, I think we'll end up the 8th seed in the playoffs.

If they go 1-2 and we go 3-0, we are 8th.

What we want is Memphis 1-2 and Blazers 3-0. That will mean all we have to do is beat Memphis once to go to playoffs. One caveat- Taylor Jenkins was an assistant under Buldenholzer who might rest all the Bucks to help the Grizzlies out.

Even you have to admit that is a long shot. I can't see either team going 3-0, and the Blazers are as likely as the Grizz to go 1-2.
You think Grizz will beat Toronto, Boston, or Milwaukee? How is it a long shot for us to go 2-1?

The Grizz can't beat any of those teams if everyone who is healthy plays but that may not be the case unfortunately. So we just need to worry about winning our games... all of them, to guarantee we have a chance at the playoffs. We can definitely get on a roll, win the next three and then beating the Grizz two in a row will seem easy.

Raptors seem to win no matter which guys they play. Celtics have been playing full out but they have nothing to lose so you're right, they might sit guys. I don't know what Stevens' philosophy is. Bucks haven't needed to win for months and they still roll out their starters for at least 25 minutes. They're winning a completely meaningless game against the Mavs right now.

If we win tomorrow, Pelicans and Kings can both be bounced out with a loss. That'd be nice, I guess, esp since everyone picked the Pelicans to make the playoffs ahead of us. Pelicans play Spurs, Kings play Rockets.

Yeah, we'll see what happens but like I said before, if our guys just play the way they're supposed to and Stotts plays it a little smarter and a little more efficiently on offense then we don't have to worry about anything. Beating that Memphis team two times in a row should be a given, I know it's not but if we play right it will be.
