That was the trap game...LeVert is a legit scoring monster...after Dame havin the games he just had I was glad Nurk got over 20 and CJ got 25 or so....man it's nice havin' help on that end...I see the strategy now...make the other team score 130 then turn it up and beat them by a couple of points.

I wonder if the Nets would trade LaVert to the Blazers for CJ? Lol not a chance after tonight
 
Is the regular season officially over or does the play-in game count as a regular season game?
 
It doesn't matter because I hate CJ but what happened to his 3 ball? Even pre-injury and pre-covid his 3 point shot has been way off? I dont get it, for someone whose a shooter and has been good at 3s in past seasons, he looks like shit shooting 3s.

The fact is that CJ is a really good scorer when he's healthy... unfortunately he is one of the absolute worst perimeter defenders starting in this league, if not the worst defender starting in the league. He showed up in the first half tonight and then became nothing but a defensive liability but we won... oh and in no way was that a defensive stop on LeVert on that final play. LeVert chose to shoot a low percentage fade away long two.

We didn’t play poorly. Nets were on fire! They got a couple players.

Whiteside needed to be in the game those last three minutes - with Nurkic - as they got second chance after second chance. I love Melo and all, but Whiteside and Nurk together may have been the play against this team.

We didn’t shoot as well as they did - 54% to 38.5% or something like that! Tough beating teams that score like this. Period.
