It appears that CJ has been taken off of the injury report. That means he will likely play. I hope that he is effective and not in pain but if he's not effective I hope Stotts has the brains and guts to bench him. This game is likely far too important to play guys because of loyalty and not go with the best guys we can put on the floor at any given moment.

from everything I've read, and know from experience, the big issue is pain management. If the Blazers can get a handle on that so he has his range of motion pain-free, he could easily have a good shooting game

of course, the downside would be just jumping and landing funny, or getting stressed by a hard foul. That could cause the pain to flare-up and throw him way out of sync

hopefully, Blazers bury the Nets early and can load mange both CJ and Dame

OMG another Blazer game. I need to rest up, don’t need another heart attack.

here is the remaining NBA schedule:

the good thing is, Portland will know what they need to do before the game starts. In the unlikely scenario that all 3 teams they are competing with lose today, the Blazers can take the night off

however, if even one of Memphis, Spurs, Suns win, the Blazers have to win tonight to get 8th seed. They don't want to be in a position of having to win twice against the Spurs or Suns. Not even against Memphis for that matter

and of course, if two of those teams win and Portland loses....Cancun on line 3

if I'm math-ing things right, looking ahead, if Portland wins tonight, then takes care of business against the 9th seed, they will have the 16th pick in the draft (Orlando has 15 locked up) The 'best' Portland can do in the lottery seeding (by losing tonight while the other 3 teams win) is 12th. That would give them a 6.1% chance of a top-4 pick

Please are we really complaining that nets are playing their starters ( i mean back ups ) Nets domt have dwidie spencer kyre or kd. If we want to pose a challenge in playoffs this nets team needs to be destroyed. Not going to the wire. Obliterated totally. Out of all teams in the bubble The nets have the least scary starting unit. Harris can shoot lights out from 3s but in general we gotta go in there and smash this team.
The Nets are 5-2 in the bubble.

Hello..

One question... What exactly means that phrase ( if that is phrase) Cancun on 3? I saw that in this pg vs lillard beef.. Maybe i am funny now to you but really do not know whats that means, i just figure out it has something with exit from play off in this beef.. :) Dont smile, just explain to me please :) thx

I wonder if they will rest their starters. It appears so based on injury list. Imagine getting knocked out of the playoffs by this

I found this blog post about it from 12 years ago.

Apparently the phrase "1, 2, 3 Cancun!" was yelled by Nick Van Exel prior the the Lakers getting swept by the Jazz in Game 4 of the 1998 Western Conference Finals. The phrase takes on the meaning that the season is quickly approaching its end and it will soon be vacation time. Cancun is a tropical destination, probably very popular among NBA circles. So when Pat Bev commented "Cancun on 3" on Instagram, he was insinuating that Portland's season was coming to a close.

Hope that helped!

Thanks! I supposed that is something related to exit from play off...

Thanks again!

and yeah, i hope that Doncic will make Cancun 3 to Pat Bev... that would be a nice karma for that litlle bitch. :)

Holy shit Luka is playing against the Suns! Wonder how many minutes though.

Are the Nets playing everyone when they already secured 7th seed?
