They sure as shit didn't make KP play in the game I'm watching now and he's a way bigger draw than any of the people the Nets have on their bubble roster. LaVert was listed as questionable earlier today, he's off the injury report now. I think they might play to win but if I was them and I was being pressed by the league to play my starters, I would do it for the first quarter and then let them rest but hell maybe they don't like the Blazers and want to end our season right here and right now so they will be playing like it's a playoff game. I any case, I think we will come out on top.

I hope the league doesn't hate us as much as you think they do but having watched or listened to like 90% of the games for the past 30 years, I understand your paranoia. Not a lot breaks our way where the league is in control (especially if you view the refs as an extension of the league... the refs fuck us every chance they get).

Not just the refs. The commentators constantly disrespect the Blazers.
 
Looks like it's narrowed down to Us, Memphis and Suns. We win we get 8th seed and Memphis owns the tie breaker over the Suns so Griz will have to beat us twice to advance. If we lose, it's vacation time and Suns will have to beat the Griz twice..

Do they though? Seems the NBA holds the TV rights and could freeze TNT out as I am sure there are plenty of networks that would like to pick up that contract.

In 1998, the Jazz were yet again dominating the Lakers and up 3-0 in their series. Nick Van Exel of the Lakers gathered his teammates and said "Cancun on 3!" Cancun referring to a popular vacation site (I went there last year actually). It was hilarious. Gave up before the game started. It ended up being the 4th time Shaq was swept out of the playoffs. He was swept out of the playoffs for a 5th time in 1999 before winning three straight championships 2000-02.
 
For just one game I want the Blazers to come out and just stomp on the opposing team's throats. But given that we can't play defense, I would expect another close game, because why the hell not?

Yeah, TNT had to broadcast our game because they know the Blazers love dramatic games that go down to the wire.

Our whole season is down to the wire now.

No it's not because Stotts is a fool when it comes to adjustments and loyalty. The only loyalty a coach should have is to the team winning games, if a player puts up two games like CJ has and has an injury like CJ does... even if that player is begging to get minutes, you sit his ass down but not Stotts, he's the ultimate players coach. The players make the decisions and there is no accountability that I can see during the games.

How can it be a trap game? Win and keep going with a good chance for at least one playoff series. Lose and go home. Nobody on the Blazers will be taking this game lightly.
