Yeah a few guys yesterday were calling it a trap game. I had already said that a must win game that was most likely going to be an elimination game is the opposite of a trap game. Now it is an elimination game so our guys are going to come to play... I just hope the importance of the game doesn't mean that we play CJ more even if he's playing like he did last game. I mean I guess you give the guy a chance to see if he can make something happen but if he can't we've got to get him out of there. The way CJ was playing last game, Ant would be much better to have in... I'm not trying to be rude to CJ, it's just how I see it. Also, while I want everyone to get up for this game, I kind of hope Nurk isn't too up. He needs to make sure he's being deliberate with his actions on both ends especially when scoring, I don't want him to fling a bunch of shit up really quick because he's so excited.

Yeah, calling it a trap game makes no sense as a trap game is one where you might be looking past an opponent. Nobody on the Blazers are looking past this game

It is however a type of game that can be problematic for some teams... a pressure game. Fortunately Dame, CJ (if he's healthy enough) and Melo have all come up really big in pressure games before. I think Nurk is also made for pressure games and I think if he can stay under control this could be a big game for him.
 
This could be Nurks game, i remember two season ago he dominated against Brooklyn, they couldn't defend the Pnr with Dame.
 
That Dallas Phoenix should tell you everything you need to know about what team they all don't want to see in a 7 game series.

Dallas did everything but score for the Suns. They literally gave them open walks ion the lane.

You never watched them take even one play off against the Blazers.

AND THE BLAZERS STILL WON!

Go get this game and put fear in every team!

considering what's at stake....and the circumstance....and the opponent....if Portland finds a way to lose this game they will be a meme for a decade. It will tarnish everything Dame has done this year
