With a large group of players that are "emerging" it's become painfully obvious that self awareness is paramount. If every player has the green light then some sort of therapeutic reality needs to be diagnosed in order to keep them grounded. My simple observations with regard to self awareness (because I have none)-

Dame: thinks he's better than he is (not by much)
CJ: thinks he's better than he is (more than Dame but not by a lot)
Aminu: thinks he's better than he is (more than Dame and CJ combined...i'm mad at him)
Vonleh: is better than he thinks he is (patience required x100...please give him this)
Meyers: is better than he thinks he is (it's getting close, tho)
Plums: knows exactly who he is
Harkless: is better than he thinks he is (is very insecure but talented...he walks a tight rope every night)
Davis: knows exactly who he is
Hendo: knows exactly who he is (struggling on new team...will come full circle....showing signs)
Crabbe: knows exactly who he is

The rest have not played enough for me to bestow my professional opinion upon.

I think that's pretty spot-on.

My only quibbles would be:
Vonleh is not better than he thinks he is, but he COULD be better than he thinks he is.
Plumlee could be better than he currently is, but by being used better in a better system. But yes, he knows who he is.

I am not sure if CJ is closer to the Aminu realm, or he just tries to hard or makes too many poor decisions....
