The Indians once again lost to Kansas City this afternoon so this is another important match up in the quest for the final wild card spot.

When you want offense make sure you take Nunez out of the lineup and put in Cashman's latest light hitting toy.
 
In defense of Joe, he has so many players who for lack of a better description are double sided swords. The offense can win the game and the defense can lose it. Cashman has given him so many weapons.
 
I mean the lineup tonight has 1 hit in the 6th and Arod hits a dinger. You can't make this shit up.
 
Kay, can we just focus on the wild card chase... Any baseball fan knows what an asterisk means. It's not like Texas, Detroit and the likes haven't benefited in the standings this year from PED users. Let's just talk baseball please, these games are to important.
 
Nice job by Andy not imploding after the three runs. With some help from the pen and a good throw by Stewart it's 3-3 after 7.
 
Cano with a big homer to make it 4-3 Yanks. It's beyond belief what's developing with this playoff picture. Add a triple by Grandy and an infield hit by Overbay to make it 5-3.
 
The Yankees win!!!!!! They look for Boston to hold on and end the night two games behind Tampa in the loss column. Also, just think about how this is setting up. One more big game with Baltimore tomorrow. Then the Yankees travel to Boston while Tampa and the Texas Rangers will square off in a four game series. It's all on the Yankees to take care of business.
 
The idiot Red Sox allow Tampa to tie it 3-3.
 
There has never been a better time to run off say 8 in a row. Dreaming I know, but how sweet that would be.
 
I'm thinking maybe during this playoff race that the Yankees should only use Mo if they have a 2 run+ lead.

I think it was sarcasm Cy. But since nobody comes to mind, we'll stick with Mo...Since Sunday, Mo has thrown 70 pitches. Plus warming up on 3 of the 4 days. Doesn't that make the point clearer...
 
What they need is a couple of nights of not having to use these guys.
