Frankly, I think Nate plays "guards" with as many swingmen and combo guards as have rolled through here; I don't think the line between 1 and 2 is distinct as you make it out to be. Sergio's sophomore year was fucking brutal and as a result Nate played Blake, Jack and Roy as his primary guards with Sergio mopping up spot minutes (8 or so a game) That's called playing your best available players, not playing favorites or being induced with bribes like you seemed to imply in your post above. Is Nate perfect? Absolutely not, and the way people rag on him is understandable (all fans rag on the coach) but I think it's mostly unwarranted.
