Every one I have ever seen. And yes, water is clear. Got a clear glass and a faucet? (If the water looks blue, don't drink it. It might be toilet bowl cleaner.)
 
Damn, Nate ruined Sergio from 3,000 miles away. He played for the perfect coach in NY and still couldn't make it in the NBA. Maybe having the ability to throw a pass to a dunking Rudy everyother game isn't enough. He does have excellent over dribbling skills, the ability to pass and not try a layup, and of course play defense like a bull fighter. Damn you Nate, Sergio could have kept our 15 man on roster seat warm and complained about the great pass that he made two games ago.

Thank GOD for real he left. It is hard to imagine a player that can't score who is under 6'10" from over 5' away. When he sucks in Europe, Nate will still be responsible, right?

Do you really think they used a greenish-blue piece of paper? Maybe they put blue food-coloring in the water, too.

It's not very good photography. But it is clearly the correct result.

Well, tired can often mean several different things. For instance, tired can be about what you put on your car wheels. Also, it can included in a phrase with 'feathers', as in "I think he was tired and feathered". But in the context of which I meant, in accordance to my 8th grade PE teacher, tired means "the act of, and belief in, being able to understand the concept wholly, within the guidelines of the state requirements regarding the level of oxygen that is parsing through ones brain, at any given time during an activity which is centered on the concept of improving the overall health and well being of an individual who wishes to maintain a particular heart-rate over a 60 minute time period to fit the standard of 40 beats per minute resting rate."

Whether you call it white or blue, both tubes show the same exact color, one is simply a darker shade than the other. Neither appears blue to me and definitely not white. From my many years in printing I can tell you actual "white" paper is a rarity, as most paper contains many tiny colored threads.
 
I'm trying to read a thread about Sergio and his future in the NBA, and the Powers that Be have turned it into a lesson in color, and how we perceive them.

Maris and Sergio are quite similar. Sergio thinks he was taught enough about basketball by 7th grade coaches to play in the NBA. Maris thinks a 7th grade teacher knows enough about wavelengths, reflected and absorbed, to give him enough knowledge to correct people on an NBA internet forum.

Does anyone know what or who Encectando.es is?

Every mention of this "story" on the internet is the same blurb quoting Encectando.es as the only source. No web search I try brings up Encectando.es, just posts quoting this blurb. I have never heard of it.
 
Better yet, anybody have a verifiable report from a credible source?

What it is is a typo. The article linked in the first post had a working link to it www.encestando.es

Not to distract from the dsitraction, but Maris, why didn't Sergio stick? I mean so many teams' hopes of a title have rested on the young Spaniard. How did Portland, Sacto, and NY not get it?

All the Knick fans said he was better than Chris Duhon last year. Duhon has been in the league about 6 years and will last about 10. Sergio could have had a 10-year career in the NBA.

He chooses to be a major player in Europe instead of a minor player in the NBA. But he is definitely an NBA caliber player.

And given 6 years like Duhon has had, he would have gotten better than Duhon. Duhon has started many games in this league.
 
Sergio is what, 22? For Webster we say, he's only 25, wait another 5 years!
 
Sergio is 23. Last year's rookie Toney Douglas will probably replace Duhon now. Douglas is 3 months OLDER than Sergio. So Sergio has many years left, and several Olympics vs. the US. He and Rudy look great in the Spanish system, and Spain with Rudy and Rubio gave the US all it could handle in that one game (can't remember the date, I think it was before the gold medal game, but it was decided in the last minute, and the US was trying its hardest all game long). The NBA way is not the only way.

Duhon was the Knick starter. Sergio arrived late in the season, yet started many times in place of Duhon. Had Sergio arrived at the start of the season Sergio would have been the regular starter. D'Antoni knows the roster will be turned over this summer and didn't want to bother trying new things at the end of the season, yet Sergio was good enough that D'Antoni was forced to install him as starter in many games.

Sergio got big offers from 3 major Spanish teams in May (unsolicited--he would have gotten a lot more offers had he solicited them), while the Knicks are keeping him waiting all summer while they first find out which FAs they will sign. Instead of letting the Spanish offers lapse while waiting for the scraps the Knicks will have remaining after their big signings months from now, Sergio went for the money. European teams normally sign their players now, not at the end of the summer, and the offers might have lapsed had he kept them waiting. He will make more in Europe than in the NBA because the dollar is worth less than the euro.

I translated it. The blog entry gives no source, like, "the team announced that..." It's written by Javier Maestro, who writes many other entries on the blog. So he's probably like an editor, not a random fan. Maris is right that this isn't much of a source.

It says 4-5 teams pursued Sergio, especially one that has been after him for a year. He went with the Cadillac team Real Madrid which is a constant threat to win the European championship. It says they want experienced players and were wary that Sergio had lost the Continental style in his 4-year absence from Europe. (His detractors here would assure them he hasn't.)

Knick fans aren't very happy about not giving Sergio a chance...

Sergio Rodriguez's agent, Jose Ortiz, denied the rumors appearead on a Spanish media on a deal already done between his player and Real Madrid.

"The news published is not real" said Ortiz who added that Sergio would love to return to Knicks next season.

"The proposal made by Knicks was better in the latest weeks. However we did not reach an agreement yet. Sergio has also offers from some ACB clubs. We are not in rush to find a new club" finished Ortiz.

FWIW, I don't think too many people see Chris Duhon as an NBA caliber point guard ... or at least a good one.
