I'm completely liberal. Totally against going to Iraq and right now I have have a debate essay. I have to say I am for going into Iraq in the first place. I need some ideas as to the benefits it would give us, I already thought of a few on my own and I'll post 'em later.

as liberators; helping the kurds, arguably the worst off people in the world; ending minority rule, frame in the context of ending white minority rule in south africa? stabilizing the mid east; economic perspective; aiding israel; i could go on.

zmag is the biggest lefty magazine in the world, i doubt they have any justifications for war in there.

Deception the war in Iraq has hardly stabilized the middle east. If the war had been executed with a solid plan it would have been possible, but the state of the area is worse off because of the war.

u've haven't read my posts before have u? i'm trying to give the guy some arguments for his paper, i'm not stating my pov on the subject, in fact, if u have read my stuff, u would know that i'm jbb's loudest critic on all things american.

Just by that statement, it's clear you have no idea what you're talking about. It's basically thought out opinions, as opposed to the bullshit you get on the news. I.E. Chomsky. They even had a piece on how the real reason for the Iraq war was for Israel, as I see you mentioned as a subplot in your first post.
