Unfortunately, you are both correct... I don't understand why teams keep doing this.

That being said, I'm glad once again it wasn't the Yankees... Hopefully, that restraint will be more common even though they gave too many years to Beltran, Ellsbury, Gardner, CC, Tex, A-Rod, etc.

Nice to be missed. Headed out for a mini-vacation. Took in the Santa Maria Rodeo, a day of winery tours and another day hiking the Big Sur. Lime Kiln Creek is a nice gem....hiking through Sequoia's to the east and the beach to the west.

It's from watching Hollywood Blvd 1/4 Mile Dash Races............of-

Transvestites, running in Drag (races) with Stilletos, hot pants, wigs, while a Cop chases them on foot..........that's what CA Drag Races equates too.......! sad enough to say......1st time I literally saw a tranny run from a cop on Hollywood Blvd, I about broke my neck to watch both LAPD guys, tackle this dude/chick face first on the pavement, when she ran on a routine stop.......good thing she had a padded bra......
