I think the *people* probably wan't peace... but they are also just pawns. There is a lot of manipulation going on. I remember a classic video of palestian funeral procession where they were supposedly carrying someone killed by Isreal and then they dropped the casket and guy rolls out... jumps back up and tries to get back in it. The people around scattered like crazy.

It's not coincidence that terrorists meet in houses filled with women and children... there are either shields or are wonderful for PR if someone does attack. They hope the public outcry is enough to stop the next leader from getting killed... and even if it doesn't it does create a LOT of resentment in the area. Either way it serves their cause.

There's an old saying: The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Arafat was their George Washington. The folks in Gaza--the people who you claim whose mindsets have changed--elected Hamas.

The Palestinians have been used by the Arab world to keep their street under control. After all, if they're bitching about the opression of the Palestinians, they don't bitch about their own opression.

And you're right about what was bulldozed. It's been well-advertised by the Israelis that if someone is a suicide bomber, the house in which they resided will be bulldozed. Personally, I put the blame on the suicide bomber.
 
I blame suicide bombers too. What are they suicide bombing about anyway? I would ask, but they blow themselves up before I can. Guess I'll never know, not that I'd care anyway.

Maybe their entire innocent family getting killed and they have a feeling of nothing to live for...I dont condone killing but its not that hard to imagine the daily horrors/oppression they have had to deal with since birth.

Asking forgiveness of her parents, she said, "I love you very much, but I love Palestine and God more." Mervat Masaoud is the ninth Palestinian woman martyr.

On October 4, 2003, Hanadi Tayseer Jaradat, a 29 year old attorney from Jenin detonated a bomb in a restaurant in Haifa, Israel killing herself, 19 Israelis and injuring 50 others. Hanadi Tayseer Jaradat wrapped her waist with explosives and fought her way past a security guard at a restaurant. Hanadi Tayseer Jaradat was a single woman whose younger brother Fadi, a 25-year-old, and older cousin, 34-year-old Salah had been killed by Israeli forces in the raid on Jenin in June of 2003. Her family said she did not tell anyone where she was going and they assumed she was on her way to the law office in Jenin where she worked.

Israelis also trash the Muslim area of Jerusalem. I saw it with my own eyes. Literally throw their trash in that area, grafitti...in the 2nd most important place in the world for the Muslim religion. They take European tourists into the Muslim section only with a heavily armed escort implying the Muslims are a bunch of crazies. I was 18 or so and walked the streets by myself without the ability to speak Arabic or Hebrew and had no problems nor saw any potential problems

I fully support the Israeli army. That shirt is for sure rude, but it's war. Some things will be done propaganda wise. You don't think the Palestinians have shirts and shit saying horrible things about the Jews? They wanted war, and war is brutal and people will die. They have shown no sign of peace and because of that, they will see what happens. I don't think war is an answer, but when a country is pushed to it's limits, it can flex. And the Israeli army is one of the best in the world and people call us killers when we fight back.

The army is funded by America and it carries out the vast majority of its operation in its own people. Not a glowing recommendation by any means.

No, because they have had everything taken from them.They dont have the resources/equipment to make propaganda t-shirts. They are more worried about health, food, and shelter rather than making some stupid t-shirt

Was Palestine a country? No. Is it now? No. It never was, so really, nothing was taken from them. They are thousands of Arabs in Israel and they live together. But some of them decide that they think it's their country. What stops them from living there? Nothing. Jews welcome them. But they are selfish and don't believe it should be a Jewish country.

Set the bar high? I stand for the Israeli army and I fully support them. Propaganda is gonna happen and while it is crude, I turn a blind eye because it's not like Israel ran in to Gaza because they were bored and starting shooting people.

Their land stolen? Why people think the Jews took land is completely ludicrous. They didn't take land. Most of the people who call themselves Palestinians now, living there, are from these Arabs who did not even have roots there.

These people hated the fact the Jews were there, and started the Palestinian movements you see still going on today, to try to take the land from the Jews, saying it's theirs.

The issue is MUCH more complicated than this, but I'm trying to show a part of the story that never gets told, and that is:
They ALREADY gave the Arabs/Palestinians their own land & country, and it's what is known today as JORDAN.
But that's not good enough, they want it all.

I don't know what you stand for, but I can tell you that this is by no means a one sided war. Both sides have contributed to this and while Israel is seen as the villain here, it really isn't. This is war and some things will happen that will piss people off.

I am aware of what "they" is. Jews didn't tell the Palestine people they couldn't live in Israel, but they wanted the whole thing. And this is what this war is really about. Fighting for land. And in the end, I'll get heat for this I know, but Israel will win.

Lol, oh yea, they are the US's bitch for sure. They've had a great army for a long time, and it's not my choice that your country supported Israel. They are being supported and that's that. You're not looking at this properly. I don't hate Palestinian people. I don't profile, some of my friends are Muslim and such. But, so far, it just shows that Israel is closer to winning this on going battle and war that will hopefully stop soon.
 
Only reason the US supports Israel is to keep everything uneasy over there so they can justify their involvement in other peoples business.

A thinking person in that situation would probably realize he's being used as a tool for an evil government, and GTFO of the military.

With a death count of 13 to 1400, it's pretty clear who's the aggressors here.

My point exactly right here. You think we are the aggressors, where it's not really like that. It's more a Palestinian aggressiveness than an Israeli attack.

It's tough to kill 1400 people with Hamas's weapons.

Give them Israel's weapons, see what happens. I promise you the death toll would be way, way, way over what you think. 1000 would be a speck miles behind the number of people they would kill.

Israel would love to kill 1400 militants with no innocent civilians involved. But with the militants using people as a human shield, that's not as easy as it sounds.

What many of you guys don't understand it that the Palestinian leaders don't want peace. They want to destroy Israel. I really feel bad for the Palestinian people who do want peace, but their leaders are dumbasses who are ruining their lives. If they truly wanted peace, there would be peace. They don't. They want all of Israel. That's why negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians never actually work...you can't have peace if one of the sides doesn't want it.

And DaRizzle, the suicide bombers came way before the soldiers killed people in Gaza. You have your cause and effect mixed up. Plus, the US wants a democracy with which they have similar views in the Middle East. That's why they support Israel.
