Now, you can say he's in error but you cannot say he's telling a lie because he clearly believes what he says.
People in here, especially, the regulars, do not lie. They may tell untruths but a lie is a knowing untruth and this is rare as hens' teeth.

CRT is a highly debatable and lightening rod topic. To be honest, I really haven't entirely wrapped my head around the issue because there are pros and cons coming from every conceivable position. I absolutely agree that the racist travesties and tragedies of our nation's history should be remembered, studied, and lamented in our schools. I also agree that we should all be progressively working hard to find solutions, which is one of the reasons I financially support the efforts of the Woodson Center. I've cited them many times in here, but, as far as I can remember, I've yet to have a constructive conversation with anyone regarding the great work they're doing - not just in our schools, but in society in general.

Here's a quote from a Milwaukie, WI school administrator:

I’m not even going to say it’s a program, it’s really a cultural shift, an emphasis on bringing the community into our schools and embracing our children. We saw instant improvement in suspensions, instant improvement in class disruptions, in fact, talking with the principals, they have told me they don’t know how they could be a principal without the program in the schools.

Also, as an FYI, I appreciate much of what David French writes. What I post in the French Press thread generally goes without comment by me. That said, I don't always agree with what he relates, yet I post it for public consumption anyway.

You’ve been gone awhile D. This individual rarely if ever tells you “why” he believes/thinks the way he does. It’s much easier for them to say “how” and then use the “because” defense and walk away. He can’t “lose” that way. Pro tip……don’t waste your time in debating topics of substance with this poster……..all you’re gonna get is frustrated.

I know bout ABM. When people do borderline racist shit, like latch onto Candace Owens, I just ask questions.
I should know better that he won't answer them. Pleading the 5th in those instances... Says a lot.

Candace Owens is a paid shill for white supremacy. She says horrible things about black people and racist whites love it.
