The Portland Trail Blazers need to make big changes to their roster after being shockingly swept out of the playoffs by the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round.
Considering his First Team All-NBA status, we're working under the assumption that star guard Damian Lillard is untouchable, so we made everyone else on the roster available. With Portland's salary cap situation as it is, the Blazers would have to get very creative with their trade exceptions and possible sign-and-trade deals to make a few of these ideas work. But sign-and-trade deals aren't so popular these days, especially when you have to find a player and team that can agree on a good fit and a contract number while also giving away assets to the team the player is leaving.
Are all of these deals great for both sides? Probably not. But we wanted to get the ball rolling and find out what you, the fans, think about some of the players who may be available on the market this offseason.
Don't like these trades or think you might have some better ideas for the Blazers? Use the ESPN Trade Machine to come up with some possible moves for Portland. Then throw your own thoughts and submissions in the comments section and we'll do another roundup of trade ideas later in the month that feature some of your ideas.
