So, as people have commented, Lillard hasn't looked right for a while, and now he's come out and said that the injury is still bothering him. SO STOP PLAYING AND REST. It's not like we're in a desperate race for home court advantage - it's a long time till the playoffs, and the reward for getting there would be a historic pasting at the hands of the Warriors. Let's tank and be happy, improve our draft pick and have him extend his career a little. Is he playing out of pride? In the hope that a spot will open up in the All-Star game?

Agree completely. It isn't doing anyone good to have him play like this. It takes shots from others who need to develop and doesn't produce wins. Let Napier run the show for a while. Or Turner if he heals first.

If he is really hurting there are only positives from shutting him down.

1.He doesn't risk further injury and starts the healing process now
2. It enhances the tank in a big way which is a good thing because this is a lost season and this team badly needs a talent infusion from the draft as we can't afford it thru FA
3. Other guys get minutes to see what they can do, maybe someone steps up (we can only hope)

Yeah you can't really go wrong by upping your #1 chances. Plus it would be a good opportunity for someone like Quarterman or Napier to get minutes. Maybe if ET weren't out things would be different, but with no ET its definitely tank time.

It is a little soon. he will get rest during this break. He will come back and give it his all and try to help the team make a push into the playoffs. If they go any worse than 4-6 in the next ten games, I think then it becomes time to shut it down. Especially if he still isn't right.
