I saw this on the Oregonian. A group is petitioning congress to block the NBC/COMCAST merger until they come up with an agreement that allows Blazer fans to view Blazers games on the media provider of their choice. (DISH, DirecTV, etc). I don't know if they will get any leverage, but nothing to lose.

Online petitions like this are completely pointless. It's an easy, armchair circle jerk for people who should be utilizing their energy blowing up their congressman's phones or better yet, organizing real-world opposition to whatever it is they want to stop.
