When coming back from injury, Oden and others talk about being limited to 1-on-1 or 3-on-3. I guess I've never really understood this. I find 1-on-1 to be much harder on my body than 5-on-5 - there's a lot of knee strain as I try to go around my defender. Seriously, wouldn't it be easier to just jog up and down the court, set some picks, and grab some rebounds? I don't get it?
And, if Joel and Oden are really playing 1-on-1, who's winning and why?
