Simple question: if you had the #1 pick, would you take Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram?

Disagree on all counts.I'd pick Simmons, but the 76ers will take Ingram
You calling him a liar????Disagree on all counts.
That could probably be said of Muhammad Ali, who nonetheless actually was the greatest.Simmons has more ego than talent.
Simmons has superstar potential but you would pick Ingram because he can spread the floor better? We're talking about the 76ers here.I pick Ingram he can spread the floor better than Simmons. Yes if Simmons can hit the 3 yes he has superstar potential.
Not really. Ali had tons of talent and a lot of ego. Simmons has moderate talent and a ton of ego. That could probably be said of Muhammad Ali, who nonetheless actually was the greatest.
A superstar what, SF? PF?Simmons has superstar potential but you would pick Ingram because he can spread the floor better? We're talking about the 76ers here.
LeBron James is also the freakiest of freak athletes.Lebron James didn't have much of a jump shot when he came into the NBA also.
I know I believe Ingram would be better fit than Simmons on there team. They need players that can shoot from the outside. Simmons game right now of his shots are within 5 to 10 feet. Yes he can do a lot of good things but with no 3 point shot teams defend that stuff. Just put it this way I am not sold on Simmons. Yes as I said if he can make 3 pointer that would open his whole game but until than I would go for Ingram.Simmons has superstar potential but you would pick Ingram because he can spread the floor better? Lebrons jumper was twice as good as Simmons and he was also twice the finisher and 5 times the defender.Lebron James didn't have much of a jump shot when he came into the NBA also.
Yea but James is built a lot better than Simmons is going in the NBA.Lebron James didn't have much of a jump shot when he came into the NBA also.

That being said, Ingram has a nice jumper and we've seen how huge a weapon that is for players like Melo and Durant. He's also a better defender and rebounder.
You try to be motivated on a shitty team with a shitty coach. Simmons did LSU a massive favor by picking them so I say he gets to quit on them when he finds out how crappy they are.Ingram easily. Simmons has more talent but you have to wonder how motivated he is.
And since both PHI and LAL are both resoundingly great teams he will surely be motivated. You try to be motivated on a shitty team with a shitty coach. Simmons did LSU a massive favor by picking them so I say he gets to quit on them when he finds out how crappy they are.
Basically it's the poor man's Durant vs. the poor man's LeBron. Simmons would be the #1 pick if he was coming straight out of high school, and he put up pretty amazing numbers in his first year of college. I think if you're an established team you probably prefer Ingram. But if you're a lottery team with more flux you want Simmons. There are a lot of players who are tall and can shoot, like Simmons. There are basically 2 or 3 players who can pass like Simmons at his height. And yes, he's a much better rebounder than Ingram.
Of course, both of them could be busts. Ingram could be Jonathan Bender and Simmons could be Beasley. We'll see.

He still doesn'tLebron James didn't have much of a jump shot when he came into the NBA also.
