Also, NOLA is just fine with what CJ is giving them. Compared to what they gave up?
I think both sides are happy with the trade.... nice when it works out that way.

I don’t ever look at the stats, but Hart’s numbers are similar to CJ’s?NOLA is fine with him now, for sure, he gave them a veteran leader in the locker room next to the young studs. His production is secondary for them, for now. They might come to regret it later, but that's the cost of doing business in the NBA.
Love CJ, but the Blazers were right to do that trade, especially when you see that this season Hart himself gives you pretty much the same production as CJ on a fraction of the cost.
Too many numbers bro. Their coaches LOVE CJ and what he brings to the team. He can get a bucket when they need it. They are extremely happy compared to what they gave up for him.I'm certain they are not fine with what CJ has given them, either in last season's playoffs or this season. He's shot terrible in half of his games in New Orleans. To this point in the season, he has 338 points on 338 shots. Yikes!! Last season in the play-in game against the Clippers and the playoffs, he had 152 points on 149 shots. So, over his last 27 games, 490 points on 487 shots. Making all that worse is that he's averaging the most FGA's on the Pels. He's shooting 1.4 more times a game than Zion and Ingram; and 7.4 more times a game than Valunciunas and Murphy. That in spite of his abysmal TS%:

same sort of upside down differential in the playoffs last year:

the rest of the team is averaging 1.37 points/shot; CJ is averaging .37 points/shot less
looks like the Pels thought CJ's playoff performance was an aberration and rewarded him with an extension based upon the regular season. Pretty sure they are having 2nd thoughts right now
CJ is not as bad a shooter as he's been this season. He's very likely going to turn that around and start climbing towards his norms. But CJ definitely has the MeJ genes ingrained in his DNA by now
Pretty much. Same efficiency, cj scores 5 more points a game, hart is better at defense and rebounding. Yes, this year, cj is playing like a nice role player at best.I don’t ever look at the stats, but Hart’s numbers are similar to CJ’s?

The Pels are very pleased with CJ as their 3rd option.
This one seems to and it’s working. Put your hate for this player to the side and acknowledge its working kid.a 3rd option doesn't lead the team in FG attempts while being last on the team in efficiency
They have.

What’s working is Zion and Ingram with Herb Jones and incredible roleplayers like Alvarado. CJ + Nance <<<<Grant let alone Grant + Hart. This one seems to and it’s working. Put your hate for this player to the side and acknowledge its working kid.
Just a side note. If teams don't guard CJ he will flat out COOK them. This helps other players on that team no question. What’s working is Zion and Ingram with Herb Jones and incredible roleplayers like Alvarado. CJ + Nance <<<<Grant let alone Grant + Hart.

Who would be? That has never been in question?in other words, if CJ doesn't get to draft off of the wake of defensive attention Dame gets, he's not as good?

You’re better than this? Any player playing next to Dame is going to have some relief from the attention Dame gets.
But still the question you asked was obvious. Even Simons gets good looks when playing with Dame.apparently, I'm not "better than this"....but then I had to endure people telling me for years that CJ would be a better player with his own team, and without Dame, then he was with Dame. That he'd be an all-star with his own team one he was out from under Dame's shadow. It's still possible I suppose, but CJ is 31 and the early returns aren't positive
I can do this all day bro. They are a better team since they traded for him. He is a better 3rd option they they used to have. He might be the best 3rd option in the league. They are in 1st in the west with him. You keep digging for numbers. One of their stars goes down, they slide, but what team doesn’t. The PELS love that CJ is on their roster…..accept it. Don’t understand the hate.they have a .667 winning percentage with CJ and a .750 winning percentage without him
Ohhhhh, I didn’t realize CJ hasn’t had a positive impact on the team at all my bad. What’s working is Zion and Ingram with Herb Jones and incredible roleplayers like Alvarado. CJ + Nance <<<<Grant let alone Grant + Hart.
Agree but I can’t do it all day. I grow tired I guess.I can do this all day bro. They are a better team since they traded for him. He is a better 3rd option they they used to have. I’ll end this…. I had TWO coaches on their staff last month tell me to my face they “FUCKING LOVE THIS KID” ON and OFF the court he has made them a better team. I don’t know what more I can say. I don’t have nuclear mathematician data to share, just what his coaches say. I root for the dude.
Jeezus Dude?that's fine, but you're not talking with people here unfamiliar with CJ. He played over 600 games as a Blazer and we're quite familiar with his strengths and weaknesses
Jeezus Dude?
Never said I was. You continue to post about how bad CJ is as a player and struggling, all I’m saying is, his new team loves him and they’re in first place. There really isn’t much more to say. Like I mentioned earlier, injuries might happen and they’ll slide, who knows. But they are good to go with him as their third option.that's fine, but you're not talking with people here unfamiliar with CJ. He played over 600 games as a Blazer and we're quite familiar with his strengths and weaknesses
CJ pretty much iced that game in OT.I’m watching this game tonight against the suns, playoff intensity.
