Simons is a nightmare

Has a ways to go before he becomes a franchise player as he's only played 11 games this year. However, at 27 ppg he's the youngest player in the league (24) averaging that much.

I agree, the term is meaningless. It would have been cleaner to simply say Ant is clearly the best player on the team.

Kind of seems like Simons is becoming a "Nightmare" for other teams? :dunno:

I love watching Ant attack the basket like he did last night against the Kings. He makes it look easy with his ability to elevate and variety of shots. Scoot looked great last night as well at it. Those two along with Sharpe will eventually be an excellent 3 guard lineup much like we saw last night....but with Brogdon instead of SS.

That's cause he takes all our shots in the 4th :rotfl:

Go back and read all the posts about getting rid of him and letting Shae and Scoot just takeover. Comical. Ant is only 24 and most on here knew he’d be our best player and leading scorer. Very PRO-Ant here FAMS.

I like Ant, but I don't think he's a starter on a championship team. He'd be best coming off the bench for Scoot and Shae and he can do what he does best, look for his shot. I don't love how much he holds onto the ball, but in the second unit it would be more acceptable. His defense is also still not good.

In the long run, I'd still prefer a Scoot/Shae as your starting backcourt. I don't think it's a complete coincidence that this team has nosedived since Ant came back.

I was in agreement with you until the last sentence.....which is absurd.

Nosedive? More competitive ball now than at any time in the season. We just beat an East contender and played well overall against the defending champs twice, while being seriously outmatched talent wise.

Richard Hamilton started on a championship team. I could be wrong, but I don’t remember him being a big time defender. He put up 17/3 for his career.
I will agree he likely is best suited as our 6th man for the long term, but for now he should start so we have consistency in the offense out the gate.
