Skip Bayless says Dame isn't a star

And Aldridge's last words are measured. He's not committed at first. Just says "I'm here." Then says I don't want to leave to kind of get himself out of a jam. Compare that to what Dame very forthright says about how much he loves Portland and wants to do here what Kobe in did in LA. Play his whole career here. With Dame, I believe every word. I was never sure with Aldridge and you weren't either. You wanted Harden for him.

I would have traded Aldridge for a bag of chips if I had known for sure that he was leaving. At this point, I really wish we would have taken Cleveland's #1 and Tristan Thompson. Or maybe they would have given us Wiggins instead of dealing him to Minnesota.

"I love it here, I don't wanna leave." How is that non-committal? That sounds a lot like "I love you Russ.

I feel like you don't want Durant with the way you're acting

Dame would never give up on a team like labitch did.
so putting off needed surgery to play through a torn ligament in the thumb of your shooting hand is giving up on a team? Here I thought it was commendable...:rolleyes2:

Last year's post season quotes have been dissected, rehashed & damned, but I don't think the truth was being told as the story told didn't pass the smell test. My guess...either something or someone really rubbed him wrong here or (more likely) like a lot of players nearing the end of their career LA desired a title above all else & sacrifices needed to be made to pursue it. After a near decade playing for the pinwheels, he didn't think he'd get a fair shake here. He'd seen phantom fouls on Camby, Oden & himself cripple solid Blazer team's chances in previous runs to the point it couldn't be brushed off as random bad luck. Saying either of these things to the press would not help his title aspirations in any way.

I don't blame the individual player for the league bastardizing the sport. We'll just have to see what Lillard does when his current deal winds down...

It was really Wes's Achillies that did it. Can't plan on an injury like that happening. Its why hindsight is a bitch but yea i'd have taken anything for him even TT's bad contract for him now that we know he left.

Durant in the past said he didn't like Portland so the odds of us getting is slim.

I seem to remember a Goal tending call that pretty much derailed an entire season. Totally agree.

Yes.... More!! Muhahahaaaaa!

Edit: wait no... TT is not Tristan Thompson...

It's TEXAS TURNCOAT...

Figure it out bro...

8-18 from the field, 1-5 from deep, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 turnover.
I'll wait for the usual posters who criticize Lillard to step up and criticize this player for shot selection.
He's now 2-14 from three in this series and 22/54 from the field. Which is 40% shooting.
I'll wait.

Skip really does need to find a friend somewhere that can keep him in line. He is way over his head most of the time.

Why is Skip now trolling Dame on twitter right before the game? He seems very obsessed with a guy he sort of implied had a better chance of becoming a star if he pursued his rapping career harder.

That's what he does. Doesn't matter who it is, he forms a ridiculous opinion and then trolls for the sake of trolling.

That's right, Skip. Keep fueling Damian Lillard. We're gonna need him pissed off and ready to drop 50 tonight.

Spud you're supposed to post the tweets. I don't go on the Twitter.
