Yeah, lots of context missing.

Apparently, she called the cops as a threat to her boyfriend who she was having issues with. The police came and she denied calling them, the cops called back her phone, and then she answered before admitting she called them.

She began screaming then the boyfriend came out with his fists raised momentarily, perhaps believing she was in trouble. When he saw it was the cops he put his fists down. But, I guess raising them in the first place gave them permission to tase him in the balls.

She was probably arrested for filing a false report and the boyfriend was actually let go after that.

Seems like cops causing problems rather than solving problems...

I also think she was screaming gun, telling her boyfriend the cops had a gun, and they took as he did. But he was obviously unarmed. But, they shot him in the only gun he had, and it was holstered.

But, yeah it was all unnecessary.

Our police need people who handle these situations far better.
