CHICAGO, IL—In a bombshell statement during his court case today, Jussie Smollett declared he can no longer be tried as he was murdered by racists while walking home last night and is now dead.

"I am now dead, so I can't stand trial," said Smollett, in tears. "While I was walking home last night, a gang of white Republicans surrounded me and said 'Let's go Brandon!' and then they shot me. It was terrifying."

The defense team backed up Smollett's statement. "Our client has clearly been murdered by racists, your honor, as he so eloquently stated today. We request that you drop this case, so that his spirit may rest in peace."

In her own statement, the Vice President sent her condolences to Smollett's family. "I was heartbroken to hear of Jussie's untimely death at the hands of Trump voters," she said. "This goes to show what a deeply evil and racist country I am a Vice President of. We must be better, by voting for me in 2024."

Jussie Smollett is survived by his friends, his family, and himself.
 
Has he even apologized, for such a scam? Or does he think he's the victim still?
If he'd just confess and apologize, show some humbleness would make him a better man.
 
This guy is a liar and has hurt the actual cause for social justice with his lies....what he has done is way worse than what others have been canceled for

BLM LA is not BLM and the editorial link you posted cites one persons statement ...not the entire organization....hollywood chapter of BLM supports black actor....that article is on tmz the natl enquirer wannabe.......this isn't news...it's just click bait. One person's statement doesn't mean an organization has signed off on this guy.....a lot of BLM supporters are actually pissed off at this liar and his 15 minutes of fame......BLM is not about him ...it's about victims of racial profiling and abuse of power by authorities.....it's like clicking on a "Dame to Philly" article that has some Philly fan fantasizing about Lillard wanting to be in Philly........although Dame hasn't heard about it......it got 10k clicks! It shouldn't but som folks keep spreading it masked as news....it's opinion, not news....any real civil rights leader would chastise the guy for faking an assault and dragging it through the courts when there are actual victims that deserve to have attention paid to their cases.....this is hollywood gossip ...not news. It's what is known in the newspaper game as filler. Next up...why J Lo and Ben are moving in together!
 
Smollett is one of the worst kinds of racist there is.
Cant believe that BLM leadership hasn't rebuke what he has done? Maybe they are racist too?
