What a game he had last night! 21 points and 13 rebounds, running the floor, made some amazing passes. Seriously, who knew he could pass so well? The over the shoulder, skip pass to Sean Williams while in the air was jaw dropping. Too bad Sean caught it while out of bounds. Besides that he was running the floor, taking it aggressively to the hoop, and gobbling up rebounds like crazy. His foul shooting was attrocious in the beginning, but started hitting them when it mattered.
Everyone else...
Devin Harris: His passing game is better than advertised. Made some nice bounce passes in between players and looked good as a point guard. His just has a great understanding of the game, and combined with his speed and hustle, is a one man fast break. I believe he and Carter were key to winning this basketball game because they put the Jazz in foul trouble the whole game.
Vince Carter: With the pace of the game, I didn't really realize Vince missed so many shots until I saw the boxscore. He didn't shoot well, but what he did, along with Harris, is draw fouls on the Jazz all game, putting them over the limit for almost half the game. I think that was key to winning. Putrid 6-20 from the field, but a great 13-14 from the line.
Richard Jefferson: A great offensive game from him tonight, the way he flows with this offense, you'd never know he scored almost 30 points. A great actor too, haha. But seriously, wow at him blowing by Kirilenko (!) for the awesome shot.
Marcus Williams: Started the game off really with not much time to settle in, and relied on the shot a bit much, but once he got some time in and settled on his bread and butter (passing), he looked good. Nothing like Harris, but he's a steady guy who is with a doubt, the best passer on the team, especially on the fast break.
Boki Nachbar: When he's on, he's on. He's won a lot of games for us when he's hot. That's all I have to say.
Stormile Swift: I don't care if he dunked over Jerry Sloan tonight, the mistakes he made were so unbelieveable laughable, that wow... He's really lucky that Jefferson was able to score on that play where he was basically yakking it up with the refs while his teammates were fighting and hustling for the ball. He's lucky Frank didn't see him almost give that play away with all the players jumping around (except Swift, of course), because he would have surely benched him. And then he steps out of bounds with no one around him. Wowza.
Sean Williams: Non-factor. Limited by foul trouble, though.
